we've been doing really well with exercise lately - worked out yesterday for about 30 minutes, 20 on the treadmill and 10 on the recumbant bike. man, that thing made me quite sore. plus, we walked for hours in a little shopping complex in the 90+ degree heat, that had to have burned off some calories.

note regarding fish lake hike - my pack weighed at least 50 lbs - slightly more going in.

Monday Night 1 hr walk up hill with light waist pack - took it easy after my weekend workout.

Thurs hike will have heavier pack and going on day hike with probably 20 lbs? with DH on Fri or Sat - details later

Thursday evening 7th, 1.5 hrs uphill with 10lb? pack.

Friday 8th all day - 6 mile hike through Donegans Prairie - beautiful meadows and old growth timber - 5th mile was all uphill with last mile down hill. First 4 miles was pretty moderate up and down, pack maybe 12-15lbs.

Sat 9th - a few short jaunts in the woods.
