I'm starting the journal for Thursday early and will update over the day. It actually started out well - I didn't "forget" to eat breakfast today. LOL

Breakfast:
Coffee with sweetener and milk 1 pt.
Toast (2 sl. high fibre, low fat) 1 pt.
1 T. jelly 1 pt.
That's all so far. I am on my way to the fridge to get some water, though. That will be the start of my water consumption for today.
OK, I'll post the rest, including the nibble event that I attended today. Ouch! That one really hurt.
Lunch:
Salad 0 pt.
1.5 T Salad Dressing 3 pt.
Turkey 2 pt.
Stuffing 3 pt.
Cranberry sauce 1 pt.
Potatoes 3 pt.
Gravy 4 pt.
Bread Pudding w. sauce 2.5 pt.
Break Time (which came right after lunch):
Munchies (1 of this and that) adds up to 3.25 pts.
Water: 7 glasses, total
Soooooo, that brings me to 24.25 points already today. That would be 1.25 points over, even before supper. Looks like 0 pt. soup tonight...and, yes, Sassy, some time on the dreaded treadmill. Oh, I feel the hurt already.
Update: I didn't get home from work until 9:30, then had to get ready for a bake exchange today. Soooo, the point is that I didn't eat anything more, so....

I know today will be a bad day, but I am hoping to contain it to being just a few points over. Here's the start:

This will leave me some room to adjust for how the food is actually cooked and how much fat there is. That's the plan, I'll know later how close I come to it.
I didn't quite stay within points, but that is OK for a special occasion. I will be careful over the weekend to make up for it.

Well, this was a tough day. We went to visit the in-laws and it was hard to say "no" to the things that they wanted me to eat. But, I did say no and only had 1 cup of tea while visiting.

Sunday ended up to be a pot luck dinner at church. I was goo, though and didn't get into any trouble...well, food trouble anyway.

Well, it's getting better. I hit the minimum number of points, so that was good. Got home too late to make anything for supper, so just drank water instead of eating.

I know not enough points but was at dentist with hubby all morning then had running around to do and just didn't have time to stop and eat! Oh, and by the way Peggy - pink happens to be one of my favorite colors too!
Well, this week is easier than last. I think I will be able to stay OP for most of the week. Just one lunch party that I forgot about, but it shouldn't be too hard to eat right. They usually have lots of fresh veggies and stuff. It's the trifle that usually does me in, but I think I will just sniff it this year. LOL

Ninh Kieu (this is a Vietamese place). The meal that I usually eat here is 22 points, so this time, I will eat half and have half of it packaged. I think I will also make a substitution that will eliminate some of the deep fried stuff.

spring rolls (1 small) 3 pt.
beef (1/2 sl.) 1.5 pt.
chicken (1/2 sl.) 1 pt.
noodles (1 1/2 cup) 7 pt.
vegetables 0 pt.
sauce (1/4 c.) 1.5 pt.

That's the plan so far, and also drinking water. We'll see how it works out a bit later.
Update: Well, I ate a little more than half, so the results say lunch totals 14.5 pt. Will need to be careful this afternoon.

I managed to get to the minimum number of points yesterday, but with my schedule today, I don't know if I will make even the minimum. Of course, there are two office parties today, so that MAY make a difference, if I have time to go to them. LOL.
