I have 35 more lbs to lose to make it to 225. I figure I will get a jump on the new years resolution and try and have it off by January 1 st. Anyone want to join me in a Mid Year Resolution challenge. We have almost 5 months before New Years day. What you say we get going now so we are not depressed come January 1 st. We can all use the weekly weigh in for our check in. So lets get this thing going folks.
I would like to be 135 by January 1st. I think I will look just fine at that weight.
I can't make a resolution on January 1st because I just won't do it so starting ahead like this may be the best medicine.
I'm with you Howie! I'm going to readjust my goal weight to 130 - that means 14 pounds to go. My hopes is to have it all gone by the first of October - that's not set in stone, but I'll certainly work towards it! I'll be here with you every week checking in.

I'm all about setting mini-goals anyway, because that's the only way I'll be able to get through the LARGE amount of weight I need to lose. I made a chart with goals along the way, and I'm set for 229 on Jan. 1. I hope I can make that! I've been having some trouble sticking to my plan this past week.
Good idea! I am shooting to be between 200 and 210 by January 1st. I haven't been there for a LONG time!!!!
Chubbygirl75 - Welcome! Good for you on sticking to your plan today. I really think weight loss needs to be taken a day at a time. Every day I stay on plan I've won the battle...I've only been at this for 3 weeks but I'm starting to find it a bit easier to turn down the junk food. It just isn't worth it to me anymore. This forum is awesome...I come here everyday to read posts and get motivated.
Great Idea! I want to join in. My goal is to be at 199 by New Years. Hhhhmmm, Is that realistic for me though.... I'd better make it 205. That's more in line with what I've been losing lately. Okay, I'm in with a goal of 205.
