Default Everyone Weigh In 08/04/06

It's time again for our weekly weigh in thead. Everyone is welcome to join, just jump in whenever you official weigh in day rolls around.

Well, ok. Yesterday was officially the day I was supposed to post this. Tealeaf is still having trouble adjusting to graveyard shift, ladies and gentlemen. I apologise for my lapse. I thought it would still be Friday when I woke up! But it wasn't. On the plus side, I did have a cool dream about miniature flying stone gargoyles that were singing as the flew around the room. Oh well, moving on...

Me: 189.5, same as last week. Though it's a shame to have to write that, since my 10 hour marathon sleeping event, I woke up at 187. But, since it was Saturday when I did wake up, it doesn't really count. I wonder if my weight is just stablizing around this 190 mark for a while. If so that's okay; I'm still solidly in the 100's. As long as that's true, I can't really feel bad about it.

I'm 185 now. Last week I believe I was 187 or 188.. not sure.

Tealeaf, I bounced around 189 for.. I think a week or two. It was crazy but it's behind me now and same is probably for you. You are probably and 'officially' 187 anyway.

Ribfest? And only half a pound gain? I admire your restraint!

I really, really, really can do some damage to a plate of ribs.

Tealeaf - I've been bouncing around the 188-189 mark for about three months. I did hit 187 for fleeting moment. I know I'm due for a loss, but I'm getting a bit tired of this long plateau.

I'm the same as last week 188. I'm a bit ticked off because I've been walking for 45 min. a day for the past week and thought it would make a difference. Time will tell.

My weight this morning was 181.4. It was 180.8 yesterday, but I always want the scale to be at a certain number (ie 180) for 2 days before I'm "offically" there....I think I'll break into a cry when I get under 180. I really will. I can feel it coming. Now if only I could stay away from those freaking hershey kisses!!!!

Down 1 pound from last week. Working so hard, but no scale movement at all. I've been bouncing around the same 2 pound range for the last three weeks. I did lose 1.5 inches though! 1 inch from my waist and .5 from my hips. If I get smaller, I could care less what I weighed, hehe.

As of today, I'm down 7 lbs since last Saturday. I started Phase 1 of South Beach then. I know it's mostly water weight, but seeing such a difference is a great way to kick start my diet and keep me motivated.

After a REALLY bad week last week (I went to the buffet--twice ), I have lost the weight I put on and 2lbs on top of that. Down to 226 this morning.

About 186, no real change (yet again).

Still, considering that the past 10 days have been spent under extreme stress while the trial was underway against my little sister's psychotic ex-boyfriend (who kidnapped, raped and was interrupted trying to kill her in Dec. 2005) was underway.

The official verdict was GUILTY across the board - and now I'm in the aftermath (ie. emotional / physical exhaustion recovery).

I'm proud of myself too - even under all that stress (while getting ready for grad school no less) I managed not to medicate with food. Overall cals were a bit high and exercise was very low (waiting in court rooms all day) - but otherwise good.
