Default CM3 Alginate

Has anyone tried this? It is in this week's US Weekly as the Star's Diet Shortcut. www.ozgarcia.com for more information. It is brown seaweed that expands in your stomach and gives the feeling of satiety. Just curious.

Supposedly it gels in your stomach to make you feel full. I've not found any references to published studies to support their claims that it helps in weight loss. However, one article noted that a stomach full of brown algae could have you running to the bathroom a lot

This isn't a particularly new idea. There are a lot of diet pills that contain various fibers that absorb fluids and swell up in the stomach, to help make you feel full. They are a LOT cheaper, averaging less than $5 a bottle vs $65 per bottle of the other type.

However, most people overeat out of boredom or stress, not hunger, so taking something to feel fuller may not help many people. If you think something like this might help you, you may go to your local drugstore or VitaminShoppe and buy a bottle of cellulose fiber capsules and see if that helps.

Good luck

The Product Is From Germany. I Spent Three Years Researching It. The Science Behind Cm3 And Its Effects On Inducing Satiety Are Impecable. The Technology By Which It Works Is What Distinguishes It From Common Filling Fiber Products Of Any Other Variety. It Is Clear That You Neither Studied The Product Or Why It Works.
Whatever May Motivate A Person To Eat, Using Somthing That Induces Fullness And Satiety Is Certainly A Powerful Tool In Being Able To Regulate One's Conduct When It Comes To Managing The Volume Of Food They Consume. Cm3 Is Not The End All But Certainly A Highly Reliable Tool In Managing How Much A Person Eats.

Really...everything in all capitals????

I have tried a pill in the past that had fiber and other things in it to create a feeling of fullness. It didn't do ANYTHING for my weight loss. Only proper diet and exercise DID.

the fullness pill: 0 pounds lost

diet and exercise: about 45 pounds lost

My weight issues have nothing to do with being "full". I can get full on very few calories if I eat clean-oatmeal, fresh fruit, etc. Feeling full isn't the issue. Getting stressed out, and diving into a bowl of ice cream-not out of hunger or emptiness-but out of emotional things-is what my issues are, and are for a lot of women.
