Default Menus

Hi All,

Today is the first day of the rest of my life!

How's that for an intro? lol
I'm posting to get info from you folks that have been on Atkins for a while.
Is there a site that has pre made weekly or daily menus to follow?

Second question, Im 2/3 of the way through the Atkins book and dont see anything on peanut butter, is it okay to eat? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I just cant find anything on it.

Cealy

Most commercially made PB has too much sugar in it, tho you can find some natural or Atkins' friendly brands that you could incorporate into your plan after induction.

Many of the recipes here should be helpful.

Here's what I'm having today (I'm at 25 g carbs daily):

Breakfast: egg with leftover taco meat and salsa
Lunch: salad with tuna and ranch dressing
Supper: broiled fish and veggies
Snack: fresh strawberries with whipped cream

Planning meals keeps me on track!

Thanks to both of you. Idealperson, I gave in and had a spoon of PB because I couldnt think if anything else to have, Im doing tuna with mayo on lettuce for lunch. I think Im going to take steak out for dinner, something hearty to keep the 'need' to eat away.
Kim, the site you gave me is great, checked it out and added it to my favourites.
Thanks again!

Yesterday's fish never made it in the oven so that is back on tonight's menu...I had to sign papers at the bank and then had a Tastefully Simple Party, so I kind of got off track with my eating yesterday!

Here is today's menu:

Breakfast: almonds and coffee
Lunch: Chicken and veggies (Chinese-take out)
Dinner: baked fish and veggies
Snack: some fresh strawberries

I'd be interested in the site too - just getting back on track after being off a couple years. Feeling really sluggish from all the carbs in my life. Menus are great for ideas - easy to get in a rut and not think of new ideas!
