Default I'm new! *waving*
Not sure if there is a sticky thread for newbies (and I'm sorry if I missed it!), but I'd just like to say hi! I've been reading the board for about an hour, and it is very inspirational. A quick background on me:

I'm 33 (34 on Tuesday), and I have 2 teenage daughters. I've been battling my weight for longer than I can remember, and I've come to the point where I am tired (literally). I am 5'2-5'3, and my highest weight was probably close to 290 lbs. I am now down to 223. I have a long way to go, but I have a determination that I have never had before. I walk about 40 minutes every night, which helps tremendously. Anyway, enough of my novel! I hope that you beautiful and friendly people welcome me with open arms!!

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome! Even though losing weight can be stressful at times, I will enjoy sharing triumphs with everybody here.

I too am 33 and will be 34 in september also am 5'2"-5'3". I have 2 children but they are much younger boy age 5 girl 22 mo. I am glad that you joined us and have a great time. I am sure you will get a lot of what you need here.
