Default First pound!!

Just had to share with people who had been there...I just logged my first pound lost today!!! WOOHOOO Talk about a HUGE motivator. Actually seeing the number go down has revved me all up and made it easy to turn down food!

Working on pound #2!!!

Congratulations, it's feels awesome, doesn't it? I unfortunately never got that feeling, because at my first weigh in, I weighed 17 pounds MORE than the number I had in my head. So it felt like I had gained weight during the first 2 weeks of my diet, but I know that isn't true.

Anyways, do you happen to be a KC Royals fan, or a fan of the UK royals? I'm not a baseball fan, but I'm from the KC metro area. I'm not sure the Royals have many fans left after this season . . .

Thanks everyone.

Yes, it does feel awesome.

And yea, I'm one of the few KC Royals fans left. Although they don't deserve me! I grew up in KC but now am living in Tennessee. Old habit die hard, I guess, because I can't seem to shake my loyalty to their pathetic butts...

^I agree with Misti. Keep it up. I'm still excited when I get a pound down. It's a great feeling, isn't it?

I still get excited about every pound too, Pixiefalls! When I am out walking I picture myself holding a 20 and a 25-pound bag of potatoes and tossing them away from me... THAT is how much I have lost!

Hey you are getting really close to OneDerland there! Yay for you... nice going and I can't wait to see your ticker jump right on over that big hump!! Save me a place! I'll be there before too much longer!
