I can't believe I'm the one starting this -- at 9:40 on Tuesday night! I looked and looked, but nothin'! Crazy! Alright, I'll start.
After losing 9 pounds in my first week back on plan, I lost 1 more last week. Not super gratifying, but it was the beginnings of TOM, so I'm expecting to report progress next Monday. And you know what? I'm totally ok with that pound! Buh bye, and thank you for playing!
I lost a whole .2 lb this week after maintaining last week. WOW - at this rate I'll be so skinny I'll blow away soon.
Anyway, this is not going to frustrate me - I am keeping on, keeping on . . . I realize that it's going to be slow and painful at times and I haven't exercised much this week, so that's partly to blame. I'm still going in the right direction so that's what's important.
I am so excited - I get to have my new little baby granddaughter overnight Friday night. She is such a little sweetheart that I can hardly wait.
Hope everyone has a great weekend - try to hang in there.
Wow - I just went and looked at the last weigh-in thread. I'm down 4 more pounds since then. 158 for me at the moment. I'm glad to see the scale moving, but would like it to slow down a smidge. 7.5 pounds in 2.5 weeks is sorta scary. I'm still blaming it on the new relationship. Hopefully, things will even out a little bit soon...
Well, after taking a short break (vacation) that turned into a 6-week hiatus, I'm back. I gained 14 lbs. I got back on plan last week and lost one lb. I'm surprised I didn't lose more since it was my first week back, but I guess I have to start somewhere. So I'm back on track and looking forward, not back.
*Linda walks into the room, beaming from ear to ear...proud that she has FINALLY caught up to that blasted wagon!!!!*
After a hellish new rock bottom...I'm back, and after my first week, I've lost 6.2 pounds
I love the first weeks water loss...it's always so motivational!!!! A great way to start back!
I'm a very happy girl, who's really proud of herself!!!
To those of you coming out of a struggle -- it's a new day! Effectively change your mind and the rest of the body will follow. Start with one meal, and then follow it with the next... You have it within you!
To those who've lost -- GO, GO, GO!!!!! Special mention to Linda! You are such a BADASS!!!! I am so proud of you, my friend!
Helena, a little unsolicited advice (hope you don't mind!) -- don't you worry about what "they" will think. Would you rather have some people you barely know think you're a hypochondriac, or forgo some medical care that could potentially help you? We only get one body, and noone else bears the burden of watching out for our body's health but US. It sounds like you're listening to what your body is trying to help you -- now you just need to advocate for it. Ultimately, it's your responsibility alone, and your instincts are great, so listen to them! Ok, descending the now.
It is Sunday so it is Official Weigh In Day for me. Was 230 this AM
I had two days that I went over my calorie limit by ALOT because I was sooooo hungry (but that was 2 days out of 7-still pretty good!). Probably didn't help that I was sleepy those days from not getting enough shut eye.
The good news is that my exercise was on track and I swear my wrist bones are sticking out more than they were 3 weeks ago!
I think it is just water weight (my hands and feet feel puffy) brought on by PMS and snacking on too much salty popcorn and diet soda.
My focus for next week:
1. Keep up with daily exercise and food plan.
2. Get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep each night. (Been bad about this one lately.)
3. Drink at least 70 oz of water daily.
4. Eat less popcorn (and other high sodium foods).
P.S. Keeping my ticker the same for now. Will see what next week brings....
