melissa, here are a few suggestions for cb:

grilled catfish--4 pts per slice
grilled chicken breast--6 oz 8 pts
biscuit--5 pts each
cornbread--8 pts each
butter--1.5 pt per pat

thursday is sweet potato casserole day. 1/2 cup 3 pts
friday they have brown rice 1/2 cup 2 pts

here's what i've gotten when eating core and not counting pts:
grilled sirloin
green beans
carrots
corn
ketchup

a lot of times when i'm counting pts i have"

dinner plate
grilled catfish 4 pts
green beans 0 pts
carrots 1 pt
ketchup 1 pt

fyi
country fried steak (8 oz) 12 pts
mashed potatoes (1/2 cup) 4 pts
fried okra (1/2 cup) 3 pts
gravy (2 oz) 2 pts
cobbler (1 cup) 7 pts

i got this over at dottis/restaurants/crackerbarrel. there used to be another site that had the salads, soups, sandwiches, etc... but it's no longer on the net. wish i'd kept what i had gotten from there but i tossed it a long time ago.

cb has an excellent ff ranch that's 1 pt per pkt.

hope this helps. if you have something in particular, just let me know and i'll see if i have pts for it.

WHOA! Thanks Sandra! You are so sweet. You know my favorite meal at Cracker Barrel used to be country fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits, and coke. Is it any wonder that I am fat? Thank you so much for the info. I really appreciate it!

Whoa now! This is my favorite meal all in one! Add in cornbread or biscuits with butter, and the coke that I would get too, and that's practically two days' worth of eating! GAG!

that's the way i used to eat, too. in my other life, i almost always ordered fried steak, potatoes (a lot of times fried), and another side. (usually a salad with a lot of dressing) and all the bread i could get.

at mexican food restaurants, we would eat multi baskets of chips. at seafood places--multi baskets of hushpuppies.

wonder how i got overweight?
