Default caffeine vs de-cafeineted

Ok why are we limited with the caffeine drinks? I just bought a gallon of SF red diamond tea and the only thing in it is 10 sodium. So what excactly is it with the caffeine?

I think that the caffeine acts like a mild diuretic so that's why they want to limited so you don't dehydrate...

Oh ok, well I was just wondering.I dont plan on drinking the whole gallon ,lol, but I didnt want to have to measure my tea inless I really had to . I found this SF Red Diamond Tea made with Splenda! It is really good if anyone can find it. I love it cause its soooo much easier than making fresh tea.I always bout the regular tea gallons before but with drinking SF on LAWL I had to quit.So when I found the SF tea I was happy about it.Especially since summer is almost here!Thats when I drink the most tea and fluids

Thannk so much for the answer Milca

I have also heard that caffeine can give you a false sense of hunger (?) I don't know if this is true....has anyone else heard this before?

stacy-

It has to do with getting dehydrated-the signals can be the same. We think we're hungry but we are actually thirsty. Also-caffiene can stimulate your appetite.

I drink tea like it is going out of style. I finally learned how to make it like Mama (ok, sans sugar). Anyway, I haven't had a problem with appetite b/c of it, but I don't drink cokes so I'm not getting extra there.

crazy to think you could get dehydrated with 60-plus oz. of water a day-plus tea is almost all water, too
