Question Cool Whip

Quick question, and maybe I overlooked it, but are we allowed to have cool whip in induction? For a low carb cheesecake it called for one cup of it and I want to make sure that it is acceptable during induction.

thanks,

Hi there -

I know the sugar free Cool Whip has 3 carbs per 2 tablespoons. So you might think about whipping some heavy cream sweetened with a few packet of Splenda until stiff peak stage and use that instead? I don't know.. but it would be carb free. I'd love to know how it comes out!

Doesn't Cool Whip still contain transfats? I know it's carb-laden, and has sugar, so, like falon, I'd make it with real whip cream
