What is SW? Did you lose the 14lb in one week? If so, wow.

Edit: Spelling > me.

You lost 14lbs in one week on the SW plan? Did you have mainly red or green days. My bf and I went to SW, he had green days and stuck to it religiously, measuring his oil and having it as a healthy extra. At the end of the first week he had put on 10lbs!!! The evil woman then accused him of lying! I thought he was going to cry because he tried so hard!

i did a mix of both.. ate LOADS of fruit n veg.. n stuck to it weighing my healthy extras (chicken/ potatos etc)

lot of the friut is a speedy food.. maybe that helped

and i have started off the day with juice of 1/2 a fesh lemon in hot water..

tis working 4 me...

but i have done i b4 and only lost 4 lb my 1st week.. i think it depends what you had the week b4... etc.. but next week i wont loose as much and may even put on... so will see!

what the heck was he eating. I lost stones doing the slimming world green days and never gained once. Don't understand how you could possibly gain on it unless you were having bucket loads on the portion size.

There you go...that's the answer! The woman said he could have unlimited pasta on a green day, he asked her several times if he could have unlimited amounts and she said yes. So, he went and bought 7 of the really big bags of pasta from asda, the big saver family ones and ate one a day plus his healthy extras and water. I think they need to explain that although you can have as much as you like, you shouldn't over fill yourself.

Yay! Very well done to you!
I remember my many jaunts at slimming world. I lost 12lb in my first week and then would lose 3-5lbs per week. I lost just under 5 stone on it. Now a few years down the line I have gained about 8 stone back!

I still think slimming world is one of the best diets going though and have fond memories of my time there *sigh* xx

Yeah, this is how i'm finding it, i'll have a really good loss one week, but then put on a couple pound or so the next week, I keep playing catch up! But i'm happy with my progress!
