Hi Lizzy!
Do you "need" to do take off? No, but it wouldn't hurt. That way you can give your body a fresh start!
I've read some other posts about a substitute they've used called Knudsons (spelling????). I've never tried it. I'm still new to the program, and haven't been out to look for this other juice. Don't even know who would sell it around here!
Another post has suggested oranges & cantaloupe instead of the juices.
Hopefully one of the other ladies will be able to respond with the exact amount of oranges & cantaloupe, or even which store to buy the Knudson's in.
Good luck!

Hello lizzy:
The juice is called Knudsen.Another way to do Take off(TO) is with oranges and cantaloupes. Many of us do it this way b/c is more filling and see same results than using the juice (less expensive than the LAjuice). This is the Take off with cantaloupes or oranges:
6oz protein
2 green veggies
4 cups of cantaloupes or 4 oranges
2 LA lites
I just finish my TO and went WI yesterday night and I lost 3 lbs.(But everybody's body is different.) Good luck in your take off!

Knudsen's Simply Nutritious Morning Blend--it tastes really good and you don't dilute it like the LAWL Take Off juice. A lot of health food stores, or bigger stores with organic sections carry it. Most is special order, too. Good Luck

Milca, can you confirm whether that is what you eat for the entire day. I assume that you do this for 2 days (same as with the TO juice). I have only done it once (the first time), so I am not sure how to do it any other way. I think that I would definitely be able to do it with the oranges though.
TIA,

thanks chicks!
So if I used the Knudsens I would follow that menu and also use the bars?
And how many ounces with the juice per time?
I don't want to even go back to my COD until I am through this phase,
thanks,
lizzy

I think doing TO would be a good idea for a fresh start just like Sherry said, plus it will help rid you of some of the cravings....before getting back on track

You are not the only one who gain . I also gain over the last 4 days. I did not follow the plan at all. I am back on plan now and will do the TO plan next week since I have a outing to go to this weekend(I know I will not be able to avoid fastfood)but, I will stay on plan no matter what.

Ok, I'm gonna do a TO probably starting tomorrow - I have to do it w/cantaloupe because I'm allergic to citrus. My Food Lion has cantalopue on sale buy one get one free. Also, I am not doing lites on my regular plan, I asked my COD if I did TO should I use them and they said no - I think that is a bunch of bull and if I don't do lites (read Lunas ) I would be STARVING. So I am doing TO w/Cantaloupe and Lunas. Question: Those of you who did TO do you still exercise while doing it or should I slack off for 2 days? (Wishful thinking)

Julia:
I don't excercise on TO b/c It's too much pain only with the TO already. But I think that you can excercise, I never heard that you can't.
