Hey there....I found a type of hummus made with soybeans instead of chickpeas (I don't like chickpeas). Any reason I should shy away from it? Here are the facts:

On-line info doesn't specify, but I don't recall there being any sugar in it. It's Tribe of Two Sheiks garlic-flavored, in case anyone's interested.
Funny you should mention this! I went to the Tribe website for the very first time yesterday and also read about the soybean hummus and was curious about it.
I found a statement on their site that says 0 sugar for the soybean hummus, so it should be ok. I'm really curious about the flavor, so if you try it, please let us know how it is
The soybean hummus is very good. It has a nicer texture than chickpea hummus and the flavor is lighter. Overall less pasty, both in taste and texture. The garlic version is the one I tried and it has lots of zing!
