Default walking mileage

Hi! I saw a website address recently for a program that allows you to enter your route and it determines your mileage. Has anyone heard of this? Can you share the address? I'll have to dig through all of this months magazines to try to find it again.

Any help will be appreciated

well, I found it. gmap-oedometer.com

it allows you to zoom into your neighborhood (or the area you're interested in) and by double-clicking on the route you want to take and it tells you exactly far it is.

that's what i do too. I wanted to see how far it was around my parking lot at work, so i just drove in a circle to figure it out. i did that in a neighborhood i lived in too. i drove from speed bump to speed bump to see what the distance is.

And there was a typo with the pedometer as well which is usually my trick!!!

I love the google pedometer, the UK has finally been fairly well mapped, but it doesn't work for Australia yet I am going in June and wanted to programme out some runs
