Thanks for asking the question, Freddy, because I, too, am looking to be a runner. Well, sort of. I want to do one 5 or 10 K. My question is how often do you run? Is every day too much? I've been walking/running on M, Tu, Th, and Sat, working up to 60 min. each session (run 1.5 min., walk 3.5 min) and on Wed and Fri, I do water aerobics with my DH. I'm a little scared to try 2 min. running and 3 min. walking because I have knee problems. So I wonder if I should back down the duration from 60 min. to 45 min. and go to a 2/3 combo? Any suggestions?
