THURSDAY: Today is Time for Us Thursday so give yourself just a little pampering today!

Morning gals! I am happy to report another 4pter! Jack has lost 4 lbs so we are doing something right!

I have a caffeine headache from ****, which is making me a little nauseaous, but it will probably go away today.

I got the baby blanket finished. As soon as I finish the booties, I will post a picture of them. I think my yellow blanket was prettier, but Jack really likes this one so I guess it is ok.

Have to go and start my morning chores.

Afternoon All - I woke up this morning with bad cramps, uggghhh, got my TOM, but at least after not having one for four months things are sort of back to normal. I have had two four pointers on Tues and Weds, I was going to go to the gym after work today but with the cramps and bloating I am not feeling like it, so I will do well just to stay OP...

Faye - Sorry to hear about your headache, I know exactly how that is since I went through it a couple of weeks ago ( and today with my TOM headache ), hope it gets better soon - the first week is so rough I know.
That is great that Jack has lost 4 pounds already!

Hello to everyone!! Better get back to work.

Hi all,

Well feeling ill turned out to be a massive migraine aswell as TOM wiping me out physically and mentally. I'm feeling a bit better today though, but had to have a couple of days break from the gym as I was exhausted.

I am excited that in a weeks time I will be able to buy these sexy knee high boots that I've been saving up for - they are specially made for those with wider calves and are not cheap, but I am worth it!

Also, I had to buy a new gym kit and I got Reebok pants in a size 16!! (US 12) They are a tiny bit snug, but the 18's (US 14) were far too big so I am pretty happy! When I started the gym 6 months ago I was wearing size 24 gym pants (US 20) - so I've gone down 4 sizes - woo hoo! I don't give a fig what the scales are saying..........I'm shrinking!!!

Speaking of which, I am going to weigh in tomorrow and then lock the scales away! I don't think I've lost weight - I've been avoiding the scales during TOM, but that's finished now.

Must fly - dinner is served!

Love Amanda x

Way to go Amanda! It's always thrilling to fit into a smaller size and you have worked so hard to get there.

Faye, you and Jack are going to get there, too. Good start.

I had 3 pointer yesterday - pesky exercise. It's really hard to get in after working and caring for my husband. Maybe I should get some credit for that.

POINTS:

Carri
Faye
Susan

Let's hear it for Amanda and her smaller bum!!!!!!

Jack just called and said he has to work late, which screws up dinner so I am going to have to eat a snack. Ah, well, that is why I kind of bank some calories so that I can do that if I need to.

I just got the new Just My Size catalogue and they have some gorgeous swimsuits for this year. I really am thinking of buying a new one even though I am not going to Vegas this year. I swim everyday once the pool is open and have been wearing them out year to year. Sounds like a good excuse anyhow!

Well, I am on my last bootie and it is about 75% done so need to get it finished. They are sooooo cute, I want another grandbaby!

Only got 2 points yesterday - stuck with my food. Too much coffee and too little exercise. I think I'm going to make an appointment for a physical. I am so tired all the time, just no energy, GERD is getting worse and I had some twinges in my chest yesterday, not really pain and it could be from the GERD, that has happened before.

I have to be absolutely losing my freaking mind. I posted here this morning, but must not have submitted it! DUH! I had said that I got up early because I went to the bathroom and came back with the animals on my side so to keep Jack from being disturbed I came downstairs. That was at 4:30 AM! Brother, what a stupe! I got another 4pts for yesterday and bad girl, got on the scales. I have lost 12 lbs! All those soft drinks!

POINTS

Faye
Susan

Susan: Hope your GERD is better. I know how it can be so disrupting and uncomfortable. Hope dh is doing well! I think of the two of you so often.

I have my workout done and all my downstairs chores so I am going to knit for awhile. I am making myself some slippers out of leftover yarn from Christmas. I wear socks in the house all the time and wear holes in them so fast so thought I would just make a couple pair of footie type slippers.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Amanda and Carri: Hope the TOM is better.

Julie: Hope the skating and writing is coming along

LeeAnn: Hope you and hubby are finding a new house you have fallen in love with!

Hello ladies,

I got another 4 points yesterday - now TOM is out of the way I feel so much better and have alot more energy.

I weighed in this morning and I've lost 3lb - I'm hoping that that will now trigger me into 'weight loss mode' and the weight will keep on dropping! Anyway, the scales are locked away now - till the 1st Feb, then again for a whole month! It's a relief, but I also know I will feel a bit lost without them for a while!

I'm going out for a long walk in the countryside tomorrow with some friends - last time I went walking was a few years ago and I had to stop and sit down because my chest was pounding (it was up a big hill) - this time I'm hoping I'll leave my two friends for dust (they are smokers!). Part of me is still worried I won't be able to keep up, but that's just me being silly really as I am probably the fittest of all of us now - even if I weigh alot more than them.

Have you heard about the whale in the Thames? - it's been on the news all day as they are trying to rescue it and take it out to sea. I get really upset if I see any animal suffering, so I'm pleased that they have managed to lift it onto a barge now and give it medical attention. I just hope thay can release it back into the deep sea as it has really captured the nations hearts! Whales are magnificent creatures and it's been mad to have one swimming up the Thames river!

FAYE - 12lb loss - WOW!!! I hope that spurs you on to have another good week! Well done!

Hi to everyone else!

Love Amanda x

Wink

All right Amanda! You are burning the floor with your hot self!

But Susan.. I think looking after ANY man should be worth points! LOL

So anyhow, we've found a house that hubby loves. It was one of the first ones, but he's so worried that he'll make the wrong decision that we looked at 10 houses in total.

They were all wonderful and solid houses, but he kept nitpicking them until the first one sounded the best. So finally I put my foot down and told him that we are putting an offer in on the one he loves so much. He wasn't very upset about it. I think he just didn't want to be the one to say it. LOL I love him so much!

Also, our 5th anniversary is coming up. I was teasing him and asked him if after 7 years he is finally tired of me yet. The smarty pants said that sometimes he wished he could wake up next to a redhead... you guessed it! he went out with the guys (and doesn't come home until very late) and when he woke up the next morning...

It was a pain in the butt to do and is temporary (washes out after 28 washes- faster if I don't use the colorsafe shampoo) but the look on his face was so worth it! So it looks like I'm a redhead for about a month...

Also, our baby- Deanna (10 mos) took her first step the other day. Yahoo!!!!! I didn't get to see my 2 yr old's since I was at work for it, so I guess it was my turn. She hasn't seen fit to repeat the performance, but now we know that she knows how.

Wow, I feel like I have nothing but good news going around like crazy..!

Can't wait to come back and tell you that we have a house.

Ok, so it's Sunday, but for my Friday Folly...

When I was about 2 or 3 my sister and I were at or friend's house (just next door) and when it was time to go home, I didn't want to let go of the toy I was holding so I took it with me.

My mother asked me where I got it and I told her that it as "mine now". Of course, she knew where it came from so she called her friend (a policeman) to come over and help her out...

She had the two of us pack a paper lunchbag with a set of underwear, one toy, and a half of a peanut butter sandwich each while she explained what happens to people who steal. Then she "tearfully" led us out onto the front porch to wait for the police to come take us away.

Her friend showed up in the policecar and listened to us give a crying explanation of what we did and how we were so sorry and that we would never fo it again and he promised to give us just one more chance to be good.

Well... i still remember it and I'm almost 30, so it must have made an impression.. ha ha!!

Good morning gals!

POINTS:

Amanda
Faye (I probably didn't go over, but I ate a lot of cherries yesterday so am not giving myself the pts)

Amanda: I KNOW that hill is going to be NOTHING for you to climb. If you can do the Spin classes, you can climb that hill! Can't wait to hear how it went!

LeeAnn: I was a natural blond in my younger life...Anyway, several years ago we went and saw the movie The Thomas Crown Affair with Pierce Brosnan (YUM) and Rene Russo. I leaned over to Jack and ask how he would like me as a redhead and I can't actually say what he said to me! So, like you I dyed it. People loved it so much, I wore it that way for probably 6 years. I only quit when I decided to let my natural gray grow out (actually sort of white) Jack as they say in the old days vavavavoomed about it! When we were looking to buy, we sat down and made a list of pros and cons of each house, then took the list and scratched off houses with the most serious cons (ie, no garage over something like ugly wallpaper) then decided on the house that was left. After all that was said and done, we ended up buying this condo because is was CHEAP and we didn't have to do any yard work. Not the best decision considering all the things that are going wrong with it, but it is a work in progress! Jack just has to keep making money at the casinos so we can get the more expensive work done!!!

I never did tell my folly. My younger sister and I are 2 years apart and when we were kids lived in this house that sat on a small hill. On the left side of the house was a big open lot we kids used to play kickball etc in. Anyway, the brat next door, talked us into going to the bathroom outside next to the hill. Of course, SHE didn't participate. We were only around 6-7 at the time. Unfortunately, the lady across the street saw us and called my mom. She brought us in the house in front of her TUPPERWARE PARTY and whipped us both. I never did pee outside again....

Everyone have a good day. I need to get on the treadmill and it isn't going to be pleasant. We are in the middle of a storm and my joints are hurting. Ahh, well, what we must do to become beautiful.

Lee, your mom is so Fed up!

I've gone for a walk the past 2 days, just to get dh out of the house and away from the computer. Lee, you can tell Dave I blame HIM for the fact that James doesn't come to be until 4:30 am anymore!!!! Stupid computer game....at least all he has left to do is conquer spain and it'll be back to the farming game.

Today is my oldest daughter's birthday party, joy, more cake. I swear my "food season" doesn't end with new years day...cuz then it's my birthday, and then Catey's birthday and then a month later it's bens birthday. Oh well, just trying not to stress out, cuz that's when I eat the most.

I took both daughters to get their ears pierced yesterday. Sarah was so brave, she went first and didn't even flinch or cry or anything. Then about 5 minutes later she came over to me and said "I don't feel so well" and promptly spewed her breakfast about 10 feet across the store! I can't believe she didn't hit anything or anyone except the side of my purse, the place is so tiny! Poor baby, she just got her nerves so wound up, she had to release it somehow.

There was only one sales person in the whole store, trying to wait on customers and do the piercings, and then this happened! SHe was so awesome, very nonplussed about the whole thing. She said "at least you didn't faint, that happens all the time. I'd much rather you throw up!"
OMG! THe traumas of being a Claire's associate....I never thought of the consequences of being an ear piercer

Anyway, now they both feel like "big girls" cuz I told them they'd have to wait until they were 16 to get their ears pierced. My mom did the same thing, told us we'd have to wait and then one day she just said "hey, wanna go get your ears done?" It was a nice special mom/daughter time. And neither of us threw up!

Okay, gotta get going. Everyone have a great day! And WAY TO GO on those losses girls!!!!! That's so wonderful

TTFN,
Julie

MONDAY: Today is Mission Monday and our mission this week is a good 4 days of exercise. Let's really try hard to get in at least 4 days this week girls!

POINTS:

Faye
Susan
Amanda

Got too much fat in yesterday, but I am ready for this week. I want to lose another 2-5 lbs this week so will have to work hard.

Julie: Could it be your hubby is addicted to RISK? When you said something about capturing Spain....My husband will spend HOURS playing that stupid game. I just don't get it personally. Looks like a yawn a minute to me. I usually go upstairs around 7 PM and watch tv until I go to bed at 9 or 9:30 and that whole time, Jack is in his office either playing RISK, Soduku, or Freecell. On Friday and Saturday night he will sit up until 2-3 and play. Doesn't have naked women so what is the draw?????

Well, I am a bit behind in getting on the treadmill so I guess I should get out of here. Will try and check in a little later and see if anyone has posted.

WE NEED TO WORK HARDER IF WE ARE GOING TO BE AT GOAL BY CHRISTMAS SO LET'S QUIT MESSING AROUND!

Faye
