Hi Gina! The only thing that would concern me about staying on Wave 1 indefinitely is that you would miss out on eating fruit. Also, Wave 2 has many more vegetable options. Perhaps you and DH could eat slightly smaller portions of Wave 2 meals? Or eat a little more vegetables and a little less of the other groups? I'd be interested to hear what others think because I like the results I am seeing with Wave 1 and thought about staying on it.
