Was that when we were all contributing so that we could collectively lose a ton?

I was just thinking of this the other day too. I think the year before we worked on losing a ton. Maybe this year we could strive for 2006 pounds lost in 2006?

I think that might be fun...would it be starting on a specific date? Or would it include total losses?

I think last time it was weight lost for the year Linda, so it would start as of Jan 1, 2006 and run until Dec 31, 2006.

Yeah, I think we should do it again... that was awesome seeing those big numbers!

Yes, we did that in 2004. We were trying to lose a ton, and we did! We started with what you weighed on Jan 1st and you posted as you lost or gained and we had someone (can't remember who kept track) who updated the total. I think I might still have the excel sheet we started with.

Anyone willing to volunteer for the job?

Yep-I remember the fatty cheerleader...that was fun and inspiring. I did track it a long time ago for awhile, and I tried to keep it updated to the minute. When there were gains, I would do the math. But there was a whole lot of ppl and it became confusing. So, I would definatly recommend, not trying to subtract any lbs that may be gained from the cheerleader, just add the ones that we lose. I am definatly in!

I'd like to participate, and I'd be willing to be in charge of the totals.
