Screen Name: KimberlyinMN

Age/Age Range: 37 (Yikes! How did that happen?!)

Family Life: Newlywed - I met my husband via Match.com and we just got married on July 23, 2005. We also have two dogs (mine originally). A female Westie named Abby and a male standard Schnauzer named Dexter.

Occupation: I'm a data specialist working from home. We bought a house about 90 miles away from the office I worked in and my boss offered the opportunity to work from hom. I only go into the office twice a month. Basically I research data and manage our website.

Hobbies and Interests: My main hobby is rubberstamping. I am also trying to get my act together to start digital scrapbooking. I love working with digital photos (switching heads, adding people, all that sort of thing). I would really like to create a scrapbook of our wedding photos.

Favorite Music: I like just about everything except for country and rap music. Enya, Top 40's, stuff from the 80's and 90's and most metal stuff.

Favorite Color(s): Purple, blue, red. Hmmm.. pink too.

Favorite Exercise/Workouts: Well, this is what I need to work on. I have a treadmill and a recumbent exercise bike. I also have the Walk Off The Pounds dvds plus a few others. I NEED to get into a routine.

What are your fitness/health goals? I've decided to move my goal of losing weight to one of getting healthy.

What was the "trigger" or incident that made you decide it was time to lose weight and become more fit? I was diagnosed with a blood clot in my right leg back in September. I need to lose at least 100 pounds - that's my first long term goal. Also, we would like to try to have a baby and I'd like to be at a healthier weight. I also was diagnosed a few years ago with Rheumatoid Arthritis, but since I've been in remission for 2+ years, my rheumatologist has completely taken me off the methotrexate! Woo-hoo!

What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? Controlling my food amnesia. If I don't write something down, I forget that I ate it.

What are three things in the area of diet/exercise you need to improve? Accountability, portion control, getting into an exercise routine

(Evil motivation ) Who do you want to look better than? : I don't really have anyone that I want to look better than. I just want to feel good to ME.

What can you not wait to wear when you are at goal weight or size? I want to be able to wear a swimming suit and not be embarrassed. I don't care if it is an ankle-length suit, I just want to feel comfortable in it.
