Red face I think its about time we catch up...

Oh you guys, I've missed you SO much. I can't believe how busy I've been and how fast 2005 has gone by. Its just so surreal to me right now. I feel like I've lost touch with so many people and I keep meaning to catch up but it seems like I can never find time to do so. I can see that I've definetly missed a lot around here and wish that I could have been there for you through some of these hard times. Please fill me in on how you're all doing.

As for me, work is well....CRAZY! Its great though. I started a new position in the company back in July and am loving it. I work on an internal helpdesk supporting other employees with process/procedures, judgment calls, help train new employees, etc. I'm also going through the screening process right now to be selected for the Leadership Development Program. Basically, if I can get in, not only is it a HUGE accomplishment but they get you ready to become management within the next year or so. Once you're in, you spend 50% of your time job shadowing, doing acting manager roles, offsite courses, etc. I would love it...so my fingers are crossed. However, if I'm not succesful, that's okay too as this program is very competitive to get in to and getting to the second round of interviews is a big deal.

In other exciting news, Steve and I celebrated our 5th anniversary back in October, I turned 23 in November and we bought a house! Yup, we're building a 3 bedroom townhouse with a double garage. Its been so exciting getting to pick out everything, and I can hardly wait. We'll be taking possesion in March/April. Other than that, just the same ole' - Steve and I are both busy working full-time and in school part-time.

As for the "plan", its been pretty much non-existant for so long now that I don't even know where to start. My plan for December is just to not go completely overboard for the holidays, and I will then get re-focused and make a new plan of attack for January, because I swear - I WILL NOT BE FAT FOR 2007!!!

Anyways, I have to run to put clothes in the dryer but wanted to stop by to let you all know that I'm thinking about you and miss you. Also, hello and welcome to all you newbies! I promise to try and check in more often.

Now, its your turn... I've been gone forever.. Please fill me in!

Love,
Celina

Celina is in the house. Whoo Hooo. It sure is good to see you. I've missed seeing you around here.

We have a lot going on too. Diet is going good. We even are being featured in Your Diet Magazine that comes out at the end of this month. They seen our picture and article about hosting a local biggest loser party and picked up the story. Very exciting.

I am dreading the new year as I have to have back surgery on Jan 9th. So we will be going to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore MD to have it done. We will then be staying with friends during my recovery so I can get back and forth to my doctors easily.

Work is going so so. I wish I could find a job that I loved and payed as good as what I have now. Guess we can't have it all. That is cool about you job I hope you get excepted to the leadership roll.

Boy it sure is good seeing you again.

Nice to see you Br00klyn!!! I do hope you get your promotion, I am sure you will do well. I have had a promotion this year, and have found it has really helped my general feeling of well-being to be doing something more interesting, and not to mention better paid.

This year I have lost 55lbs. An average of one a week, so I am really pleased with that. Hopefully 2006 will see me do the same, so by next Christmas I'll only have another 20 or so to go.

I've been in a huge plateau for a while, but that's ok too, I am finding now that my body is getting used to it's new size and shape, not to mention all the nice new clothes I have been able to buy, and is getting ready for the next phase!

Welcome back Celina. I see that you have been super busy. Good luck with the promotion.

I've been up again, down a little, and up some more. I'm pretty much with you this month and just coasting and will start a new plan of attack in the new year.
The kids are getting big. Lilly turns 3 two days after Christmas and William will be 2 in Feb.

Hi Celina! Long time no talk I haven't been around much here either, and I've gained a bit but haven't completely derailed.

That program at your work sounds like an awesome opportunity, I hope you get it!! They ran a similar program at my work, and all of the candidates now have temporary manager roles (filling in on manager holidays etc) and are loving it.

I start a new position on Jan 2, I am leaving Yahoo! after 2.5 interesting years. I'm transferring over as a reports specialist/quality manager on another account. On top of working, I took on being a Brownie leader, since my daughter is in Sparks, and I was a Girl Guide when I was younger. I had no idea it was so much work. But live and learn.

Congratulations on your house!!!

Hey, Celina - sorry I didn't get to this sooner, but I haven't been around as much lately. You're right - 2005 has absolutely *flown* by (but every year seems to go faster the older I get). I still haven't managed to hit my preliminary goal, but i figure it's OK since the scale is still (slowly) headed in the right direction. I feel pretty good, so I can't complain.

Great to hear from you & congrats on the new job and NEW HOUSE! That's fantastic news.

Hi there!! How GREAT to see you back!!

2005 for me brought the move to a new house, so it has been a pretty busy summer. I have been up a wee bit and down a wee bit all year. I have been on plan for the last 3 1/2 weeks, so I am hoping to end the year with a BANG!!!

Brooklyn - Great to see you back, chica! I'm sure you'll get into the leadership program. We need more women in leadership role. Keep us posted and stick around! I've missed you.

Raelynn - YOU have been scarce too! I'm glad your leaving Yahoo! I've had such problems with them lately (Hot Jobs and Flickr). I've missed seeing you around as well. What's a Spark?

Oh, well now I especially know just how much I’ve missed each of you!

Howie & Kimberley – That’s so fantastic about being featured in Your Diet Magazine! I would absolutely LOVE to see it. I don’t think they sell that mag up here in Canada though! Do you think I could buy it online? You also both are doing wonderful with your plans! Howie, I can’t believe how far you’ve come since you started this journey. You’re such an inspiration to me! What are your guys’ plans for the holidays?

Dawnyal – I can’t believe how old the kids are! Yes, they certainly are getting big. Do you have any recent pictures to share? I always loved seeing those. And, don’t you worry about the New Year girlfriend, we’re get through 2006 just fine – we can do it together!

Apryl – How is your school year going?

Raelynn – WOW! Its been way too long.. I never see you on MSN anymore either. We totally need to catch up. Good for you with your new job! That must be so exciting. And brownies? How fun?! I’m sure Jordanna just loves it. Any sleepovers/campouts yet?

Jennifer – My gawd! You are truly stunning. I remember when you first joined us here. You as well are so inspiring! I’ll definetly need some tips from you. Keep it up! You must feel amazing.

Sandi – Congrats on the new house! How’s it coming along? How is Jacob doing? I’m sure he’s getting big. I’m sure you will finish the year with a BANG!

Goddess Jessica – Gorgeous new display picture! Thanks for the words of encouragement with the leadership thing. I have my second interview on Monday so I’ll be sure to keep you updated! How have you been?

Sarah – I’ve missed you! How are you and Lorraine doing these days?

Anyways you guys I will definetly try to stick around. I WILL make time. Its something I really need to do for myself is to make more ME time! I get so caught up in this busy lifestyle that I forget to do that.

Happy Holidays! So, what are each of you planning?

Celina
