Height: 5'8" (Dang, I shrank an inch!)

Default Let's Move It! (Oct. 31 - Nov. 6 exercise)

Hope it's okay that I start this. I have an exercise goal this week to do 60 min. of cardio at least once this week (got close this morning!) so I thought I'd be accountable, and perhaps others need this, too.

October 31

17 minutes rowing machine
30 minutes treadmill at 4.3 mph
10 minutes elliptical (does this machine get any better?)

35 min. weight lifting

10 min. stretching

1.25 hr. yoga class

LOL Sheila. I feel like that sometimes too. I did the 45 minute walk with the kids trick-or-treating. The last 15 min. was more like exercise since I had a 32 pound girl on my shoulds and had to squat down so she could get candy in her bucket.

I'm planning for today:
• 25 minutes walk/jog program
• 2 mile bike ride, sunlight permitting, when I get home
• 1 hour of walk/jog during the Biggest Loser.

Gotta get a good start to the week, last week I think I got ONE day of exercise! We can do this ladies!

I'm going to pop in here. Thank goodness for falling back: I'm no longer having a problem getting up early enough to exercise, at least a bit, first thing in the morning.

20 minutes Gazelle before work this morning
plan more this evening.

I'm doing NaNoWriMo this month - which I attempted once before, three years ago. Then it was an excuse for eating/drinking/smoking as much as I wanted. This year, I plan to use the Gazelle whenever my impatience with writing turns into procrastination. Yes: exercise will be my NaNoWriMo indulgence.

I did 2 miles WATP, fat burner. It was good, I'm finding she's a little unorganized, I often find I keep going when she's stopped.. either way, its a good workout! And I'll get used to it!

Welcome to the newbies.
Yesterday I did the 25 minute walk/jog and then 1 hour of walking/jogging during The biggest loser.

Today is installment 2 of the walk/jog program and something else. I'm not sure yet.

Oh my! I've been playing in the hotel's gym, and I have to say I have nothing but admiration for all those of you who regularly use those demon elliptical machines! Crikey, they're hard work!

Anyway, this is what I did**:
  • Elliptical Trainer: 10 minutes on level 3;
  • Treadmill: 15 minutes of walking for 2 minutes @ 3.5 mph & running for 1 minute @ 5 mph;
  • Step Machine: 10 minutes at level 3 (BORING!!);
  • Rowing Machine: 10 minutes at level 6 (Too easy.);
  • More elliptical: 5 minutes at level 3. I wish I could afford one of these things. I do believe I would actually use it!

**This is my first time ever using proper equipment so I've no idea whether this is good, mediocre, or poor. I'm proud of myself for having a go though.

I think that's me done for the week!

Ali that sounds like a great workout. Good for you for making an effort while staying in a hotel.

I didn't get in my exercise at all yesterday. A minor crisis came up at work and my planned time for my walk/jog went by the wayside. I started feeling crummy on the drive home and ate dinner with the kids and went straight to bed. I'm still feeling a bit crummy this morning but with a bit more energy so I'm going to make sure I get in my exercise.
