Default Weekly Weigh-In Oct 30 - 11/15

I'm not a happy camper, but I'll get over it. I'm up .8 this week. I'll just have to try harder. I checked back through my journal and the first week and second week I was averaging 1300 calories/day - this past week I was averaging 1500 calories so I'll mark this down as a lesson learned...I can't eat that many calories and lose (or not gain)! I increased my exercise this week a little bit, but I need to increase it even further.

So, next week - less calories, better choices, more exercise!! Watch me shrink big time!!!

How is everyone else doing???

Default My First Week Too!

Here I go again. I lost 15 pounds and have gained it back. Not happy about that at all. I am hoping that logging in and reading other peoples success will keep me going this time and keep it off. I just love my red wine at night with dinner and I know that does not help. I also need to start running again. It just seems so hard after working all day, getting home and doing homework, dinner and household duties I am just pooped.

Good going on the loss Jelly. As for the gains hang in there. I've been on that side of it too. Keep doing the things you know to do and you will back in the losing category next week.

melsfolly, you'll get rid of that .8 in no time -- don't sweat it!

lookbetter2007, you're back on track, and that's all that matters!!

Congrats on your loss, jelly!!

I lost 4 pounds this week, so I'm down to 229. I still have a long way to go, but I'm getting there!!

I lost 3 lbs this week. I was pleasantly surprised after I succumbed to the chinese food craving on Saturday! I did up my exercise though.

melsfolly - Don't worry about that .8! You'll be on the losing side again soon enough!

Good job everyone!

Good job on the weight loss Jelly!! And 1 hour of cardio 6 times a week is wonderful!!

Lookingbetter - you've taken a big step by jumping back into the weight loss journey. And you might have gained 15 lbs, but at least you didn't gain 16+ lbs!!! The good news is there's nothing wrong with a little wine as long as it's in moderation!! I'm looking forward to seeing your progress in the weeks to come.

Lisa - Woo Hoo! 4 lbs is awsome!!!

Liz - Great job on the 3 lbs! And while you say you succumbed to Chinese I'd be willing to bet that you practiced better judgement in your choices and quantities than you would have in the past!

Thanks for the encouragement guys!! I'm still in the saddle and I plan on a great finish for my next weigh-in!!!

Great job guys!!!!
I lost 1 lb this week, but I have to admit that it only happened after I peed 5 times and did house work and weighed myself every 15 minutes until the scale moved away from the weight I was last week. I vow to stay away from halloween candy and pizza from now on....
I need to post more often too cause when I'm posting I'm not snacking!
hugs all

Kiwichic,

Everyone's weigh in day is different. You just report how much you lose each week here.

I'm fairly happy. Even with my Halloween treat night I manage to eek out one pound this week.

I'm waiting on my weight to settle into it's permanant spot.
When I lose a pound it will tend to float up and then slowly back to where it was before I can lose more so I don't get upset, I just keep an eye on it. If I hit a nervous day, I may get the munchies-hopefully catch myself and walk away. I used to get upset and quit, no more-just consider it a blip and go on.

I'm down 1.6 this week, which means I'm at 248.4. I've lost just over 1/4th of the weight I need to lose
