Default weekly weigh in Aug 20-26

I hope I have these dates right. I went on vacation this weekend back today so I did my weigh in on Friday- I am down to 245 so I had a 4.5 lb weight loss. I had a little more that planned this weekend but nothing I can't get rid of before weigh in next week. I'll be working extra hard this week to catch up and move ahead.

How'd you all do??

WTG Gretchen! I had a little more than planned this w/e too, I did well on Saturday (niece's b-day party...more goodies that I could shake a stick at) but Sunday was a wedding reception and I ate more than I should have. But, I lost 2.6 lbs, so it all worked out I guess!

I lost 1.1 lbs. Way less than I was expecting, but not too bad.

Way to go everyone

I'm down another 2.5-3.0 lbs this week. Do many people lose a lot of weight when they first start out? I'm actually aiming for 1 lb per week. Not that I'm complaining, I would love to go at this rate.. but I know realistically it's better for me if I slow down. I've began keeping a food journal to see if I'm getting enough calories... granted I did unintentionally miss dinner one night, but I had a big breakfast that morning (800 cals... between milk, toast, peanut butter, fruit, and yogurt... mmm I love breakfast foods!). I'll continue journaling my food intake and I'll see how the next 2-3 weeks progress.
