Default What do all these events have in common?

  • The US space shuttle prototype 'Enterprise' flys for the first time
  • Elvis dies aged 42
  • The last case of smallpox in the wild occurs in Somalia
  • Red Rum wins Grand National for 3rd time
  • Street parties in the UK for the Queens silver jubilee
  • Star Wars breaks all box office records
All of these events took place in 1977 which was the last time I looked down at a scale and saw a weight of 250 or less.

I went in for my weigh in today and as of today, I have lost 312 pounds. I have not been at 250 or under since I was 17 years old.... and that has been a few years now.

312 gone - 30 more to go.

Charles I love the way your pictured yourself in time. It's like turning back time. I was only 28 years old then and that seems like an eternity ago.
Awesome!

Thanks everyone! I am feeling great and not carrying around all of that weight sure makes me feel younger. LOL not sure if I look any younger or not. So many people have helped me - reading stories of others - getting ideas on good foods or tips on how to deal with emotional eating. I am a big "pay it forward" believer so anything I can ever do to help anyone - I want to do it.

I wish everyone all the very best!
