Swimming ROCKS!!! IT's one of my favorite things to do . It's hard with a 2 year old though... we get lazy and end up floating around a lot haha! I wish I had more time to get in the pool ALONE. It burns TONS of calories too, and it doesn't even feel like you're working THAT hard!

Swimming is my favorite too! I like to get one of my kids in a floaty thing and swim as fast as I can while pushing them around. They love it and it adds some resistance to the 'work out'.

Swimming is my favorite exercise...which is funny, since I don't own a pool and live pretty far from one too

I loved my aqua-aerobics classes. Some say you can't sweat in water, but I'm living proof that you can. I had to quit do to moving so far from the course (and it being so late in the evening).

They just built a new pool close to home and I totaly plan on taking the courses in automn, winter and spring.

My YMCA has a water aerobics class. I never considered trying it; I guess I'll give it a go.

I think swimming is my favorite too. Wish I had access to a pool. Like ValRock said you don't even feel like you are working. I just love it.

I have seen ads for this thing called Endless pool. I look and dream and drool. Now all I need to do is win a lottery ~ LOL.

Default Endless Pool

I've seen ads for that pool, too. It looks like it'd be a GREAT product, but yeah...I couldn't afford it unless I won the lottery either! Maybe we'll just cross our fingers and hope one day it'll happen so we can do our own at-home pool training.

Oh I can't wait for warm weather so I can go swimming. Here in NH it's been raining forever, bad enough that we got evacuated a few weeks ago. So needless tyo say the lakes are just waitting for someone to swim in them. I wish we had a pool though but the closest one to me is 1/2 hour away and it's ummm (to be nice) not as clean as is could be.

I love swimming as well, even if I haven't done any lately.. I grew up swimming, did speed swimming, synchro, diving and eventually started coaching. I need to live closer to a pool! An endless pool, my goodness.. that'd be so nice!!

Before I had my kids I was swimming 3 miles a day. I absolutley loved it. I would sink into the water and my mind would completely empty. It was the one true time that I did not have to think about anything. I just signed up to start water aerobics at our local pool. The one I live near now is an outdoor pool so we can only swim summer months. Lap swim times do not gel with DH's work schedule, so...but the water aerobics does. I start those on Monday Yeah!!!! I tell you what when I was swimming all the time the weight just came off like crazy.
