Welcome! I'm currently working on my second 4, so we will be starting the cycle together. I'm already down by one pound of it though. 3 more pounds to that next goal! It is really funny how weight comes off sometimes though. Some months nothing or very very slow, and then suddenly a lot of weight at once! That is what happened to me in the last couple of days after waiting and waiting and waiting.

Default Can I join?

Hi! I'd love to join your 4/3/3 group here. I've currently been stuck at 269-270 for a few weeks, and although I am walking and watching my food and portion sizes, and have cut out soda completely, I can't seem to get the scale to budge.. I hope that part of it is just that TOM is here. I'm onboard as of today, and can't wait to get started on my first 4 pounds.

Great Going Lesa! Yes I'm still doing it. I'm not losing very fast right now, but I did get through 4/3/3 once since starting this thread. Unfortunately at the moment I'm up from the second 3 and maybe even the first. I had a bad week last week, and deviated from my diet just enough to put a little weight back on. So I'm in a "relosing" phase! Hate that!

But I am not giving up. Little baby step goals will get us to our bigger goals, if we keep setting them.

Thanks you too. I'm hoping you'll lose that one more pound soon! It feels so weird to be within just ONE pound of a goal. I had that happen several times last month and then whoosh, in one day I was down from that one pound to goal number 2 and not only that but down the next 3 pounds too! It was quite a surprise. But one week of off plan eating brought a bunch of water back on so now I have to relose.... I do Atkins, which is usually really quick weight loss if you stick to plan, but the slightest deviations can bring a lot of water weight back on really fast. It goes away again with only a few more days of being very careful and good about what you are eating, but you really can't cheat at all on this plan without expecting some rapid gains. Particularly if you eat grains. They tend to hold in the water so that the scale can just 5 or 6 pounds if you consume them and also a little water and salt!

That is why I'm not really worried about the increase in the scale, I know it isn't fat, it is just retained water... Still I do want it off again so I can start pursuing my next 4 pound goal.

I'd like to join in this challenge. When I do it 3 times over I'll be just over half way to goal! I will not do a ticker - just a line in my sig I think. It's already long enough I guess.
