What famous person would you like to be as thin as???
After posting the "pictures suck" thread, I realized that, although I have a longterm goal weight set, maybe it would help to put a picture with what size I want to look like...
So what famous person would I like to be as thin as? Marilyn Monroe. She was like a size 16 and one of the most beautiful women ever. I think it is a shame that society would now call her "fat." I love the curves, and the thought of having a little meat on my bones. I would never want to be skinny like, say, Jessica Simpson.... that is too thin for me.
What famous person would you (ideally) like to be as thin as???

Marilyn's size 16 is nothing like OUR 16 now! Sizes were smaller then. When I weighed 129, I wore a size 14, I'm in an 18 now at 243... There is no way I'm near as thin as I was then, and certainly not just 2 clothing sizes up from there either.
I like Rachel Wiez's look. I know she is pregnant now, but even before the pregnancy I thought that she had a good look, not too thin with gorgeous wavy dark hair and eyes (just like me!). So, if I had to pick someone to emulate, it would be her.
Wow, who wouldn't mind looking like Marilyn Monroe?! What a timelessly gorgeous woman! Here are her statistics, ranging from low to high - heck, I'd take the 'high' ones anyday!!
Sizes were waaaay different back in the 50's, like Sherry said, and if MM was ever a size 16, it's lightyears different from our 16s. Here's an article from Snopes.com about MM and what size she wore - it says that the size 16 was really a British 16, equivalent to a US 12.
Do you know how MM got that awesome figure? Weightlifting!
I don't really want to be 'like' her but I admire Marg Helgenberger. She's older than me ... spins, lifts weights, does yoga, golfs ... and looks good.
I think I just want to look like myself..only thinner. But as far as body type.. If I would have to say anyone it would be Catherine Zeta as well...even as she has gotten older she is still really beautiful... Most of the celebrities out there without their hair, clothes and makeup,..and they were just walking the street would just look like normal people I think. It's too bad Pamela Anderson had to pump up her boobs so much or I think I would say her..but to tell you the truth..honestly..I like my own body shape..just got to get it into shape. IF I do that, I will not care about looking like anyone else.
Meg, I LOOOOOOOOOVE that photo of Marilyn Monroe. Who knew?!
I kinda dig Scarlett Johannsen's bod. I saw Match Point recently and thought she looked really sexy - curvy in all the right places and NOT overly thin. There's something about her shape that just screams "sexy" - I think it's that she's a total hourglass.
Honestly, I can't think of any. I mean, there are a lot of famous people with good figures and sure who wouldn't like to be like them. I do admire a lot of famous women but it is usually because of their wit, smarts and talent, not their figure. I know it may sound cheesy
Also, the picture of me at my goal weight is much different than any famous person I know. I expect to be what you'd call "thick" rather than thin. Probably something like Queen Latifah or something and I do have the booty for it.
