Default Newbie Checking in

I am so glad I found you guys and this board! I have over 100 to lose and need support and encouragement. It is so hard to stay on track. I do great at work, but when I get home, watch out! I know what I have to do, make good food choices in moderation, excercise (that's the tuffy...I HATE to sweat) and lots of water (I do ok there).

But I really want to do this, I am so sick of being tired, staying home, being the biggest person in the room, etc, etc, etc.

The one thing that does really help is that my hubby is on board with me. He would like to lose 50 pounds, but it is REALLY hard for him as he had a kidney transplant 2 years ago and with all the anti-rejection meds, it is next to impossible for him to lose even though he exercises like a fool and eats well!

So here I am checking in and so looking forward to hanging on the board with you!

I want to hit my goal before my twins (boy/girl) graduate in June 2007 (my 25 year reunion in in 2007 also, so I should have double incentive)!!

Hi Hadenough,

Welcome to 3FC. It's nice that you have such happy events to look forward to as incentives. I have been thinking about incentives myself. Post often. You will find great folks and lots of support here.

Welcome!!

If you hate to sweat, you might consider water aerobics. Okay, there's the whole swimsuit issue, but I started a class when I weighed just a few pounds less than you do, and it was great.
