the first POOKIE88 update!!!
 

just talked to her mom, and pookie is out of surgery [on schedule!] and in recovery. she's expected to be there all night, because of the extensive surgery. right now, she has a breathing tube in, and that's probably because she's so heavily sedated.

everything went the way it was supposed to, but this was a very extensive, serious operation. keep those prayers coming! next update will probably be tonight.


if anyone wants pookie's real name and the hospital [makes it easier to send cards and flowers, ya know!], please IM me...

Oh Jiffy, thanks for the quick update! I'm relieved to hear the surgery is over and there were no complications. Please let us know as soon as you hear anything else.

I'm so glad to hear the update. Thanks so much for that. At least now the surgery is over and she can start on recovery. I'm also very happy to hear that the surgery went well and there were no complications.
