OT - Leather Coat Preservation
Was just wondering if anyone had any experience in this? I have a couple of other leather coats that were my dad's so they are about 50 years old. They are really quite cool but in terrible shape. They've been neglected probably for about 40+ years and they are hard as a board and the one coat's liner is all ripped. I know it would be really expensive to have them fixed up if it could even be done. I'm sure the only way I"ll really know is if I take it somewhere that does leather preservation but I was just wondering if anyone had ever done this and to what extent they can be saved after sitting around for all these years.

Hi, Jen - Not sure about that. It sounds like it's really dried out, but is the leather cracked? You might want to write these folks:
