How much do you spend eating out?
I was thinking about how much money I spend on food, and I'm just curious how much money people spend eating out each week.
I'm starting to think that a great way to save money would be to eat out less!!

I put 26 to 40 but some weeks would be none. It just depends. If we go out to dinner then it's going to be around 30 for both of us but if we just order pizza only 10. We have been doing a lot better on eating out. However the savings have been spent at the grocery buying fruits and vegetables.

I had to say over 40 because I eat out for lunch everyday at work, and since I've been preggers I do dinners out also.

10 bucks for pizza? Sign me up! Pizza in my household costs a min of 30 bucks! Thats at Pizza Hut of course. My boyfriend is addicted to eating out, and I'm constantly picking up smoothies, coffee and yogurt. I need a whole other job to afford it!

Yep my Favorite place has a 10 buck pick up speacial. But lately it's only been costing us 8.25 because we only order a medium.
Is the price that much higher or are you ordering other things? Pizza hut here I can get a large for 10 to 15 depending on what it is.

a) 2 medium cheese lovers pizza with feta and bacon OR
b) 1 medium cheese lovers pizza with feta and bacon and a large order of breadsticks with cheese.
We usually get a pepsi with it too... oh man.. no wonder I got so fat!! It's so good going down though....

I put $26-40 cuz when Jeff and I eat out, it's usually around 30 bucks for the two of us, and we eat out every Friday night. Sometimes we end up going out more than once a weekend, but that's only on special occasions (we went out twice anniversary weekend, and we eat out more when visiting my sister). Of course, I should put that I don't spend any money since Jeff pretty much always pays for dinner How did I survive without a boyfriend for so long?

I polled at 5-10 because I will not eat at fast food places after looking up the "nutritional" values (a term used very loosly!). But I do have a Cafe Mocha with skim milk and no whipped cream habit!

I LOVE their sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwhich on honey oat bread (no cheese). SOOO good! I have to stay away, though...no spending money on food when you have food at home, Jill!

Generally we have McD's once a week so for the 3 of us it is usually around $15. It has been a long, long time since my husband and I have been out to a real restaurant (we are going out Saturday for his b-day!) and then it is generally $50-$60 depending on if he has any alcoholic beverages and if we get dessert.

Because eating out can be sooo easy, we give ourselves $50.00 every 2 weeks to eat out. That way we try and eat cheaper and are forced to eat in more often.
But that's as a family. On an individual basis, it can vary from none when I am doing well and more than $40.00 when I am not.

No I had not heard that. Guess it adds protien. If we seen our food before it got to the grocery we would probably not want to eat that either. So I guess the only way around that is to grow all your own food. And that's not going to happen.
My wife was looking up the finger in the chili. They had pictures and all. She then said what if it was a murder victim. I guess the seceret is in the sauce.
