Jennifer- ooohhh, I have to agree...those are some cute shoes. I hope that as I lose some weight it will make is easier for me to buy shoes. My feet are so wide that never have luck finding cute shoes that I can wedge onto my feet...so I have a purse obsession instead. I have way too many...mostly thrift store treasures and I few I made myself.

Orangecupcakez- you and me both...its been so long since I could wear an 18...I will have to get a second job to finance all the inevitable clothes shopping

Jennifer, I love the red shoes!! Nice and a nice sole too. I would buy them right now if I wasn't trying to save some money...

Theotherjen, When I was in high school, I weighed the same as I weigh today and I wore a size 11 from 14 on. So I was quite amazed when my feet shrunk when losing weight! They shrunk in width and in length. I thought I would always be stuck with with big wide feet so I was quite amazed when I was able to fit into size 9.5 and 10 shoes and wide but not as wide as they used to be. So keep at it girl, things will shrink that you didn't think would.

Jennifer - I got a pair of shoes with a huge heel on them and when I was trying them on I was worried I wouldn't even be able to stand in them... but I couldn't resist. When I slipped them on I almost died, it was like putting on a pair of socks!! I had just spent the entire day shopping for new shoes, and my feet were completely aching, and these shoes were so incredible I had to buy them (err.. my brother bought them.. but you get the picture!). I am so used to the shoes from Aldo, which fall apart after one season and take forever to wear in, which is how I became converted to spending extra on shoes to get something that fits better. Hmm, I'm babbling..

As for purses, my boyfriend suprised me last night with a black leather purse with pink details, my valentines day present apparently. It's cute, but has too many buckles, so I have to return it. Plus, I can't justify him paying 130 bucks for a purse. So sad

Jennifer--I'm loving those shoes. I know once we get bills caught up, I will be taking better care of myself (i.e. buying me more clothes and shoes )

Jennifer - How the heck did I miss the red shoes??? They're simply divine! I love them.. totally something I would buy too!

Aimee - Cute wallet! I love anything with pink!

Ugh, reading this thread just gets me excited. I remember before I gained this weight, I LOVED shopping... it was the love of my life. Steve was even jealous I used to go shopping every single Saturday while he was at work. You have so many more stores you can shop at and not to mention, better Sales! You know it actually kind of makes me mad that retailers are actually pretty discriminatory towards "plus size women & men".

Anyways - I've found a fetish with pj's! I love having nice pajama's to get into when I get home from work and know I'm in for the night.. And as for purses, they've always been pretty big on my list.

Can't wait to get out of Credit Card debt and shop again!

Hey, I work at Old Navy :-) The plus size is very new and hasn't made it to a lot of stores yet. They are testing it out right now to see how it sales. My store just got it about a month ago and it's selling great. Not every store will get it though... It's like the Maternity, only certain stores carry it.. Mine doesn't. So It could be possible that the store that sell Maternity will NOT sell Plus and the one's that don't sell Maternity will. (Jus a guess) But on the plus.. I wear a small size in the Plus :-) and it feels awesome!
