Default starting over

Hi, im not exactly new here, but I haven't visited the site in a while. I believe I have been on every diet imaginable, from Weight Watchers to Atkins, with the same result, I am still overweight. I need to do something about now. I just recently got laid off from my job, and do not currently have health insurance. Because of my weight, and also because I had a mild heart attack a couple of years ago, I have been turned down by one company already for health insurance. I need to get healthy! Hopefully, I can find the right fit here for my needs. I like the low carb lifestyle, but I know I definitely need to exercise.

Any suggestions?

:merry: Hi,I'm Pam. In Aug I weighed 280 and now I weigh 220. I thought I was starting to get heart problems and my blood pressure was starting to rise.I'm so glad you've come back and will be trying again. I've come to rely on this site and all our friends here.

Hi guys and girls,
I've been watching your site for a little while now and decided to join in and see what I can do with you. I need a little support and figure this would be the perfect place to get it. I have approximately 29 lbs to lose and want to take it off sensibly. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

Hello Cher, You will probably hear this from others here also. Exercise is key. Start slow and build your endurance. By trying to much at once you are more likely to sabotage your efforts by thinking that this is going to be way to hard. So, slow and steady. I don't do low carb, so I can't offer you any suggestions on that. Several people here do so maybe they will chime in on that. Welcome to the group!!

Nibs, Getting those extra pounds off now is a great idea before they become double that and then triple. I know alot of wish we could go back and start when we were still only moderately overweight. This is a great place for support. Welcome!! Remember to post often on how you are doing.
