Default OT: Seen any good movies?

Although I seldom go out to movies (wait for video or HBO), I'm always curious what movies people are seeing that they like. I read all the movie reviews and even watch the movie review shows like Hot Ticket and Ebert and Roeper. Kind of weird for someone who hardly ever goes to the movies.

Just wondering what films you guys are enjoying??

"The Manchurian Candidate" was FABULOUS! I also really liked Spiderman 2.

I hadn't been to the movies in ages, since before my 3 year old son was born. Then a few weeks ago my dh and I had a couple of weeks where neither of us was working and our son was at daycare so we hit a couple of movies during the day. We saw the latest Harry Potter (which I think was great and did justice to the book) and Shrek 2 which was good but like most sequels not as good as the first IMHO.

I meant to see a bunch of movies this summer but I only saw the Stepford wives and Shrek 2. Oh, and Farhanheit 911. I thought Shrek 2 was really hysterical, and my parents were really reluctant to go with me but I was on a mission to see it all summer.. they loved it too, the oafs. Stepford wives cracked me up too, even though I seem to be the only one who actually enjoyed it.

I've been dying to see that movie "Maria Full of Grace." Has anyone seen that? Or napolean dynamite?

My son and I went to Napolean Dynamite... I found some parts funny but not as funny as my son.(he's 14) He was laughing all the time. (I think it's because of my age) He now quotes the movie... I think it's a hit with the teens and young adults.
Maria Full Of Grace I really liked. Now for my fav. movies the are..The Notebook, Jersey Girl, 10 Ways to lose a guy, The Village, (My husand hated it but I can't say why cos it would ruin the movie) and Van Helsing. I love going to the movies.

The Village, and Stepford Wives: Bad

The Terminal, HP3, Princess Diaries 2, Shrek 2: Good

Fahrenheit 9-11: Very Good

There are so many more I can't even think.... I love the movies.
