Weekly weigh in March 28th - April 4th!

Hello all,
I am happy to announce that I lost a total of 4 pounds last week...making a grand total loss of 31 pound loss....wohoo. It is funny that eating right and working out can have that effect  Last week I tried yoga for the first time! I loved it...and I am still hurting from it....seriously. I was really relaxed, and got a lot out of it! And my three year old son also tried a yoga play class...and he loved it! I am glad that he got so much out of it...about a year ago he told me that he wanted to go to yoga class...and I was like, "huh?" because he only knew about yoga from us when we stretch...we would say YOGA. So for Christmas I bought him a yoga mat and Yoga kids video!

O.k...so, I wanna know how everyone else measured up this past week?

Gina - congrats!!! Last week I was so motivated by you! you told us that you had a plan and stuck with it - well this week I tried to do the same. (I wasn't good the whole week - but I did make a plan) I lost 2 lbs!
btw Gina.. I love yoga - haven't done it in a long time... (maybe I should think about that again) it can be a very active exercise.

Ok, time to fess up. I am back to 290. That's a gain of 6 lbs. I have been off plan for the last 2 weeks being sick (NO excuse) and I know I was off plan the week before that. So that's pretty much all of March down the tubes. I wasn't going to get on the scale this morning, I was thinking, whatever, I know I am up. But then I realized that I need to know where I am. I am still sick. Might need to go back to the doc this week!

I won't bore you with the "this week I am going to get back on track!" details. I faced the music, changed my sig and I'm moving on.

Gina and Dana - Congrats!!! :D :D

I lost 4 more lbs. and 2 more inches around the waist. Total of 19 lbs and 20 in for March!! :)

Jenaya 03-29-2004 10:10 AM

I stayed the same this week. Gina, Dana and Gretchen - congrats on the great losses. Sandi, I am sorry that you are still feeling unwell. It is more important to get healthy and just do what you can to take care of yourself! Have a great week!

Gina, Dana, Gretchen and Jenaya (hope I didn't miss anybody) - congrats on a great week. I stayed the same - 232.5. I know what I'm doing wrong - eating snacks after 7pm. I need to set a "no eating after a certain time" policy and stick to it! That'll be my goal for this week.
Sandi, I hope you're feeling better. It's brave of you to step on that scale when you know it's going to show a gain. You're tough - you'll prevail!

I am down to 176 last night at the gym so that is down 2 lbs.

barbygirl43 03-29-2004 12:24 PM

I'm down 4.5 pounds which is surprising since I was having problems staying within points!

Congrats everyone on the losses and Sandi--we know you'll get back on track, sometimes one of the hardest parts is having to admit a gain in your siggy.

Yay, Gretchen and tolose, you go with your bad selves! Congrat's also to Dina, dowsx, and Jenaya -- great job, everybody! Sandi, you'll get back on track -- just take care of your health and get back to the doc, then take it from there. Don't be hard on yourself, just remember the great feeling of losing and know that you'll get that back just as soon as you're able. You know how to do it; you're just not physically up to it right now, and that's not under your control. As soon as it is, just take the first step towards your old "loser" routine, and you'll see progress once again. You did it before, you'll do it again.

As for me, I'm 17 pounds down for March so far. (Just two pounds last week, but I'll take 'em!) ;)

lessofsarah:

What plan are you doing? We both lost about the same for March.. Just curious to see what you are doing and how I could incorporate some new ideas into my plan.

Stinger766 03-29-2004 03:38 PM

Hi.

I've posted here once before (last week) but haven't posted since then. I'll jump right in again if that's ok. :)

I lost 2 lbs last week, making my total for March 13.5 lbs. I've lost 34 lbs since 1/12/04. I staying on a low fat diet. I can't excercise at the moment but plan to start in the summer.

Congrats on the weight loss everyone and I'll check back again soon.

Ingrid, that's great!!!!!!!! Hope you have another good week this week.

SuchAPrettyFace 03-29-2004 07:48 PM

Congrats, losers!

Sandi, I have found that every time I change my sig, I either gain or lose!!! True story. Grrrrrrr.

I will find out later tonight @ the gym & edit this post.

SuchAPrettyFace 03-30-2004 12:52 AM

281.5. A whole half a pound. Gah. Should be better.

Monkeybabies 03-30-2004 05:16 AM

SAPF...half a pound, is a half of pound...yay for you! And congrats to everyone else who either lost or maintained.

Sandi, Sandi, Sandi....I agree with all of the other posters...please do not be so darn hard on yourself...that is the first thing that came to mind. Second, please get better soon...because you need to feel good before you start making all of these changes to your body...it can only take so much! And the siggy line thing...man, sometimes chaging that is worse than confession!!!!! LOL...
