So happy to wake up this morning to find that I was one pound under goal weight for this first challenge! Yippee!

Total lost: 17 lbs.
I realize the going from now on will be slow, averaging around one and a half pounds per week, if that, but I don't care. I'm eating now the way I want to eat when the excess weight is gone. I'm done with yo-yo-ing. I'm focused on changing my attitude about food and about unreasonable expectations as well. Above all, I realize that good goals shared by many tend to be more successful than solo journeys.
toomanydimples: Hang in there -- you have much to be proud of.
onebyone: That's the spirit! It's not so much the number as the direction, right?
KayG: I really relate about the initial water weight loss. . .but we will lose "snail like" together, OK?
