Thankful that you're the leader of our virtual family and never fail to kick start the new thread

November is a HUGE month for my family. :
  • Mom's birthday (November 7)
  • My birthday, that I also share with my late father (November 11)
  • nephew's birthday (November 18)
  • twin brother and sister's birthday, that is also shared by my niece, brother's daughter (November 25)

Including Thanksgiving, there are more than enough reasons to my way through November BUT I will not be doing that. Birthdays that belong to someone else are just that--not mine!

Hullo, all. I haven't been around for a while - busy, crappy few months, and I'm in need of some accountability. Back up to 205. Grr.

November Goal Weight: 190-195
Daily Calorie Goal: 1200 - 1800
I'd also like to aim to avoid some specific foods this month, namely: candy and chips. I can't seem to stick to reasonable servings with these things at the moment.

I'll post daily calories and weekly weigh-ins again. That worked pretty okay before. And fess up if I slip into my no-november food groups.

NP Curvy, I remember your busy November's ... birthdays to me mean cake and you know how I feel about white icing and birthday cake I hope I can shed a few pounds before Thanksgiving then I'll have a bit of wiggle room

This last week of October has been full of me stuffing my face at any opportunity, so I am leaving that idiot behind and starting new in November. I had a new low at the beginning of last week at 286, which I vow to get back to now that I hit 289.1 after the weekend. I really want to be at 280 by the end of November so that I can work hard at getting under my big barrier over xmas. Lucky for me being Scottish, I don't have thanksgiving so no extra big meal to work around lol.

Happy Monday, lovelies!
I'm around for November. My goal is to hang out in my maintenance range, which means practicing self control with candy and pie. I usually start buying pie when it starts showing up in the stores... gotta NOT do that this year.

I had an NSV today! I wore leggings and a tunic out of the house and didn't feel like a heifer. (Seriously, I have a hard time feeling like a "thin" person... my brain is broken.) My bestie bought me some new boots and this seemed like a good way to break them in.

Hi all!

Halloween was okay for me because of tooth pain making candy consumption more painful than it's worth (especially since most of my favorites are chewy or contain nuts). I'm nervous about the surgery but so ready to have the molar with the exposed nerve OUT OF MY FACE that I think I can get over it. Stupid wisdom teeth. So ready to be back to my pre-tooth-pain routine. Soon, I hope.

I spent much of the weekend making or planning new items for my "shop"... and hoping people start buying what I've got made so I can get the supplies to make some of the other things I want to make!

I hope you all are having a good start to the month.

Good afternoon everyone. It is still morning for me. I have late starts to my day,which is why I have a hard time. I end up picking all night. Seems as tho as soon as my DH goes to bed I start raiding the kitchen. Hopefully I can stick to a plan of not eating after 7 or 8:00 It is encouraging to see some of the stats. Down 2.8 since yesterday so hope it continues,because I can feel the fluid in my ankles and legs and I need to get that off. Have a good day everyone!

Good evening from across the pond. I luckily weighed in a little lighter this morning at 286.7 which is only .7 up after stuffing my face all last weekend and working hard to get rid for over 3lbs extra. Hoping to still work on getting to 285 or below for next Wednesday. The weather has held of well recently and has allowed Scotland to actually go through something that the rest of the world calls Fall. Everywhere looks really pretty, so I think I need to make sure I get out the house every day for at least a little walk, working at home can make you a hermit

I have always hated daily weighing, because the fluctuations frustrate me. Years ago I did it though, and it kept me from night time eating because I would always think maybe I would be down the next morning if I didn't eat _______. (fill in the blank) So since my weight has been stuck for quite some time, and my night time eating is getting out of control, I've decided to try daily weighing again. I will commit to one month and see how it goes.

Bleh, not a great start. Pretty much stuffing my face still. And I'm actually nearer 210 than 205 now Feeling very low in general and this is not helping.

Calories so far:

Nov 1: A million
Nov 2: A million and one
Nov 3: 2000 - better, but mostly bread and mini-chocolate bars. Sigh. At this rate I'll be lucky to end the year where I started it at 195.
