Ugh! I went on vacation for 3 weeks in December and now I'm the highest I've ever been. I weighed in at 218.8 this morning. I have to get back on track and stop the gain. I'm going back to what has worked for me in the past - calorie counting and cardio. I would love to get back into onderland by June.
Hi VickieLou! Hi AllyG47! Hang in there! The holidays are so so hard. My weight loss support group said that most folks gain 5-10 lbs over the holiday "season" which lasts from October 31st all the way to February or March (according to some pseudo-scientific survey so take it or leave it!!). So the fact that we are all watching and paying attention makes us ahead of the game. I remember waking up in March and just looking at the scale in surprise. For me the holiday 10 was more like 15 or 20 the last two years. At least now we are catching these things super early. Hugs to you all and looking forward to making our way to Onederland! We can do it.
Hi all. I hope to be back to Onderland by the end of February. I have to lose 10 Lbs a month. Which I rarely do. But this Year I hope to do better. I don't do well on the weekends. But I need to plan my food better. Good Luck, Everyone!
Jumping in I also am looking to return to onederland! I don't know why, but for some reason that is an important milestone for me, but also the point in,which I go off plan. But now that I know that it's not going to happen!

Starting out working in getting back to healthy eating, wish it would warm up enough to walk! That is the best exercise for me, because it is the one I will stick with. But when the highs are 20 degrees, I have no motivation to go! But if I can see the scale move, and stick with my healthy eating I may try to do an exercise dvd.
Hey Racemom! Keep working at it! It really does work. I've been pushing myself to keep focus, it is so hard in the winter I find. It is easier to just want to sit on the couch. But we are being mindful of our goals and thinking before we solve problems the way we used to do! That is always a comfort to me! Hope you are having a good week.
