Default Weekly Weigh in for 8/25 - 8/31

Well, I knew it was going to bad - vacation and all. But couple that with the new (more accurate scale) and I am at 303.4. Turns out the new scale is only 4 lbs or so higher. I think in the back of my head I knew, but happily let it go since this scale was all I had.

Onward and downward. Back from vacation and on track!!

Once again I have given myself a new challenge! - Simple lose 10 lbs 4 weeks from today. How - 5 a day - fruits and veggies.
I had gained another lb this past week. My diet needs to be simple.

Well, continuing the trend...

I am up one pound, but hopefully can take it off this week. But I am off from work this week, and have two special occasions where I know I will cheat. So, I just hope to maintain this week, and keep up the exercising.

Woohoo! I am down 4 pounds this week. I guess Atkins and The Firm are paying off. I always feel better when the scale moves down even though I should be paying attention to how my clothes fit and how I feel. I have been measuring but maybe I am doing something wrong. The inches don't seem to be moving. Maybe I am not measuring in the same spot each time. I figure I will measure once a month from now on. Oh, one more thing...I can now take off my size 24's without unbuttoning/unzipping. 22's here I come!

Well, I'm up one pound. I think it's mainly because my weigh-in day last week was a "low" day and I really hadn't lost that weight yet. The other days I was still around 296-295. But it sure gives me impetus to exercise more.

Went to the doctor yesterday, and their scale weighed me at about 296, so it's pretty much in sync with my home scale. I was afraid I'd be facing what Sandi did.

But if we keep focusing on eating healthily and smaller portions, and exercising more, it WILL come off.

after nearly a month of scale avoidance, i had to go to the doctor today [for yet another round of bronchitis - a lifelong problem for me] and the scale read:

TADAAAAA!!!! 225!!! down from 233 at the last reading.

that makes a grand total of 281 pounds lost!!!! even i am stunned these days! only 25 more pounds and then plastic surgery!!!!

not necessarily in this order, and it's all considered reconstruction. the boob lift. and what's called a circumferential lower body lift [doesn't that sound PAINFUL?????] they'll basically pull everything up from the waist all the way around. after they cut off the apron. and maybe do a little lipo along the way.

and then the inner thigh lift, with lipo. because one thigh is several inches bigger than the right thigh due to lymphedema [which is now controlled]

this will take at least 3 separate operations, and first i plan to lose about another 15 pounds and i never in a million years thought i'd be saying that!!!!

and thank you sandi.. you're always such a cheerleader for me!!!

Good for all who have lost great job. I must say I am in with the first crowd though. I probably gained but refuse to get on the scale till next Friday. I just came off a four day bender. I am back at it today and am going to kick butt.

Well I quit refusing and went and weighed myself. How is it you can sometimes take 2 to 4 weeks to lose 5 pounds but you can gain 5 in 4 days time. I'm up 5 this week. But I'm feeling good and I'm back on plan so next week it will be better. I will probably weigh on Friday wich is my normal weigh day just to see where I'm really at. It may not be as bad as what it shows tonight.

i lost 3!

i guess that makes up for the "only 1" last week. i actually attribute it to what i took out of the chunk to hunk book, and how i applied it this week. i know i'm going to try and keep that up!

That's how I'm moving these past few weeks. Ugh. But at least I'm losing. I'm down .2 this week, for a total of .6 in the past 2 weeks. I feel a big one coming...soon I hope

I'm down .4 and am pleased because I know the days of 3-4lb losses every week are long gone at this point. As long as I lose or even stay the same I won't complain.

Howie - I know where you're coming from! It can take me over a month to lose 2 pounds, but one day of going off plan can show up the next morning as a 3lb gain?!? I'm good at convincing myself it's all water and have to admit it does disappear rather quickly once I get back on plan.

Jiffypop...what can I say, your achievement makes me shake my head in amazement and awe...way to go girl!!
