Good morning everyone

I did well this weekend, and had gone down to 210.9, but then TOM arrived yesterday and I've jumped right back up to 212.8. Feeling a bit bleh. Trying to mentally recommit to this journey. I keep seeing pictures of myself from the vacation, and while I look happy and am clearly enjoying myself, I'm looking back thinking how did I let myself get this far. I need to get back down to a healthy weight stat. And it ain't gonna happen if I don't get my butt in gear.

FieryCupcake congrats on the 30 pounds lost!

loveofmylife001 how many ounces of water do you usually drink daily? It is my downfall, I am very inconsistent. It was so warm yesterday that I bought water bottles and popsicles for my employees. By the end of the day I was so thirsty that I downed a bottle in 10 seconds. I definitely need to hydrate more.

Kukkie84 I understand exactly how you're feeling/what you're thinking. We can't do anything about what happened in the past, we only control what happens in the future.

Another perfect Summer day here and I have off, so I'm enjoying it! Went on another 3km walk at the park with Loki. And have two loads of laundry drying outside. Love the smell of clothes drying in the fresh air.

Good Morning Everyone

I hope that everyone is having a great week so far I can't wait for Friday, I have the day off and Monday as well. It will be nice to have a long weekend.

Kukkie Great job on having a great on plan weekend. The weekends are my downfall with food and water. I really need to get it together lol

Martine During the week I try to drink between 80-100 ounces of water. On the weekends it's always a fail lol Enjoy your day off, I'm off on Friday and next Monday and I can't wait lol

Have a great day everyone

Jb1975 including your kids into your workouts is a great idea. Onederland has your name on it

Trina, Which brand of chia seeds do you buy? Tropical Smoothie has a smoothie with oatmeal in it that's pretty good. I don't like cooked oatmeal but the dry oatmeal wasn't bad a blended up Wildroots Milled flax seed is what I have not bad at all. I've made a few one minute muffins with it Make some blueberry muffins and send them to me

Martine, I don't know if I could do it in cereal. Did it float? I have some made by Bob's Red Mill that's pretty course compared to the Wildroots brand. It doesn't blend up well at all. I've been in pretty good moods here lately. The main thing is not allowing much to bother me. I'm trying to keep things as positive as possible but often you have that one thing that just tries to mess things up. I pray through it and keep it going. Thanks for the well wishes

Martine this weather is so back and forth. Yesterday I needed a jacket. Today it's hot. The weekend it rained off and on. I just keep a jacket with me to be safe and a hat for the rain, my daughter has lost every umbrella I have bought Martine I need to be more active and eat better so on getting your eating back on track

LOL Trina, that is cute on the original weight. My original weight was 3lbs 6ozs and my husbands was 4lbs 6ozs. I was a two months early and he was full term. You couldn't look at either of us and tell that now

Kukkie, glad to see you back. Since I haven't been checking in like I should I didn't know where you were and can't ask someone where they are if I'm not checking in What detox are you gonna do? or are you just gonna eat clean and see what happens for a bit?

Kukkie, This is me 100% but how when I can't get my mind together BIG SIGH I have some jeans that I bought less than two months ago that I attempted to wear ... I didn't make it out of the bedroom with them on. I felt like I was stuffed into them ... so not good, smh.

on the 30lbs gone FieryCupcake

Bookmark maybe you have some trigger foods that are lingering that are causing the overage in calories. Maybe do like Kukkie and get them out of site. Just a thought. Me ... I have the kids eat them ... it takes care of that out of site thing really quickly

Trina and Martine I so wish there was some place I could walk outside that I felt comfortable (that was near). Enjoy your walks

Jill my daughter pat my stomach yesterday and said "What is this young lady!?" You're gonna drop that treadmill down and do two hours a day until it is gone ... I thought that was cute ... but two hours! Is she trying to kill me Have fun working out with the kids

Well I have ballooned back up to 182 ... the scale probably would have read even higher if had to work this morning.

I'm thinking, if they are doing the workouts with me, maybe they'll go easy on me?

I'm wondering if my scales need a new battery. I wondered yesterday when I weighed in. I got on the scales 3 times to make sure. I had ham for supper last night so I expected to have somewhat of a jump but nothing prepared me for this mornings weight in!

I'm down by 0.9 to 211.9 this morning.

Rennie we did a roadtrip to Pennsylvania. Went to Sesame Place, Hershey World of Chocolate, and the Crayola Factory, with a day in Manhattan as well to visit the 9/11 Memorial. It was a great trip, exhausting with two three year olds, but fun nonetheless. I think I'm just going to do some clean eating to see what happens, there was a lot of on the go eating during the trip. I think some good old fashioned home cooking where I know what's going in will do me some good. I also want to start the Focus 25 workouts at home. They're done by the same guy who did Insanity and only takes 25 minutes a day. I can fit that in, right?

Hubby finally got the results of his ultrasound back, and looks like his meniscus tear in his knee has ripped further. Doctor wants him to see the surgeon to talk about options, so now we're waiting for that. I told him he needs to give up playing hockey now.

Good Morning Everyone

So I type a post and lost it, ugh lol Anyway, It's a beautiful day today My walk with Hazel this morning was hot lol. She was nice and calm though, she's not a fan of the warmer temps. Yesterday was a lot of snacking at work I need to get a grip lol

Rennie I ordered the Chia Seeds from Amazon and they are called Spectrum Organic. I really like them and work them into as many recipes as possible.

Have a great day everyone

Rennie I would ground the flaxseeds in a coffee grinder and add it to my cereal. Never got used to it. I'm glad to know that you are in good spirits and keeping it going. Positivity is always the key to everything.

Jb1975 it must be the salt in the ham. Weight will go down, drink lots of water.

I need to get a grip on everything (sigh). I didn't even weigh in this morning, I am a bit discouraged at my own behaviour right now. I know what I have to do.

Holding steady at 211.9. Surprised at that, because hubby ordered pizza last night and I was too tired to cook so I sat down and happily enjoyed it. I had to stop myself from continuing though. I could have easily eaten the entire pie. At least I recognized that I wasn't hungry anymore before gobbling it all down, but probably a slice or two too late. Oh well.

Martine - sounds like we're in the same head space. I feel like I can't get a grip right now either. Today I'm choosing to focus on my water consumption and getting that back where it needs to be. Once I'm there, I'll choose something else and continue on. Hopefully, it will eventually lead me to a better place.
