Martine - I work in communications. The company I work for right now has its two biggest offices in Toronto and Montreal, and while I'm based in Toronto, many of my internal clients are based in Montreal. So I try to come over every few months to maintain a relationship with them. Don't want to be just a voice on the phone!

Good morning

Busy day ahead so just a quick check-in. Weight is at 211 even. Yesterday I pulled out this white denim skirt from my closet. It's one of those skirts that is perfect for spring and summer and can be worn with so many types of blouses and tops. I bought it last year and it fit, but it was snug. I swore I would lose weight before I wore it in public. Did I? Nope. Tried it on last night and it still fits more or less the same. Can I wear it in public? Well...I guess I could. Should I wear it in public? My guess is that there is a good 20-25 pounds between me and a public showing of that skirt Time to and start doing something. #onlyIcandoit!

@lovemylife001: Glad to know that you are back . It's tough being without technology. We're all so used to it! Do you mind me asking, what brand of tablet/notebook did you purchase?

Wishing everyone a great Wednesday! :

Is there anything more frustrating than working your *** off at the gym, and being scrupulous about food, only to stare at the same number on the scale day after day? I guess watching it go up would be worse. I'm still annoyed, though:P

Good morning

Weight still at 211. I've gone to bed bit earlier each of the last two nights and have been drinking more water. I feel better; certainly more hydrated. In trying to re-set my cycle it really is becoming more apparent how sleep deprived I am.

Kukkie, thanks so much for the information on your new tablet/notebook. Both of my work computers are Dells (desktop and notebook). They are both university provided and one of two standard brands we use. The other being Mac. I've been looking for awhile at other laptops outside of Dell. There are so many that it's good for me to hear personal recommendations.

Hi everyone

Late check-in for me today, but I finally weighed in this morning at 210.6. I think that's a 1lb gain from Monday; could have been much worse without the water that I was chugging while I was away. Glad to be home, but very tired, it was a jam packed trip.

curvy you're so very welcome, but it was lovemylife's reco on the tablets! As for me I too have had Dells in the past, and didn't care much for them. I currently have an HP for my work laptop, and a Mac at home. Samsung tablet as well. Oh and I'm probably going to get a Surface soon! That's what I've got my eye on anyway.

LOL, thanks, Kukkie for catching my moment! Indeed, thank you lovemylife001 for the helpful information and please forgive my oversight!

Bookmark I totally understand the frustration of working hard and not seeing the number on the scale move. But the benefits of working out at the gym cannot be measured on a scale, so keep at it!

curvynotlumpy a little late to respond, but yeah I would love to lose a pound a day, but we both know that won't happen. In fact I've been stuck at the same weight for the past 3 days now. Good for you for trying to get your sleep in check. I can say that I have been sleeping somewhat better these past couple of weeks and some mornings, I actually wake up somewhat rested.

Jbl1975 do not give up! Ups and downs and ups are part of losing weight.

loveofmylife001 I admit that I too have become dependent on technology. And I see its downfalls at work right now, as one of our programs is not working and I'm having to go to another store to complete my schedules and it's a real pain.

Wishing everyone a great Friday! I have off but I have to go in to work for a special contest for the employees and then I have a million errands to run.

Good morning

Happy Friday, everyone! It's overcast and looks like it wants to here. Weight is at 210. Got a little more sleep last night but had some odd dreams including one where I was killing a giant spider (palm size) with a shoe. It wasn't attacking, just being a spider and apparently I thought it needed to be eradicated immediately

@Martine: Nice to see you! I hear ya' about weight trends. Clearly my body doesn't work that way either. When I was on point and everything was working for me, it was a rare week that I didn't lose weight. However, it is downright difficult to maintain that kind of momentum for the long haul. At least it was for me. And the closer I got to my goal weight I foolishly thought I could let up on the gas, do my own thing, and never have to think about this silly weight stuff again. Wrong! On a lighter note, I hope you have a great day off and get a lot of those errands done. It feels great when you can cross them off your list!

If I have time I'll try to stop by later. If not, everyone be safe and have a great Friday

Good Afternoon Everyone It's TGIF

And did I mentioned that I'm off work today lol. Yesterday I told my manager that I was taking a personal day today, I need some home time lol. I've been so busy at work and even had a conference call before work yesterday, so I was feeling a little overwhelmed yesterday. Today is great. It's so and the temps are in the high 60's so it's perfect.

Curvy I have to agree with you about weight loss momentum. I had to switch my plan about 4 times to get to my goal. It was very frustrating at times, but if I hadn't I would have been stuck and maybe still trying to get to goal, ugh lol

Martine for having the day off! I have this beautiful day off as well. I just had someone come and give me an estimate for landscaping and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I had one of those companies come and spray my lawn all last year and it still looks bad lol. I think that I was just expecting more. So this year I refuse to pay them to spray again. I will fertilize and seed myself. I also have a bunch of errands to run, but hey, I'm off today lol

Have a great day everyone and start to your weekend

I might be jinxing myself, but I've been keeping track on my original post for each day so far, and I'm extremely surprised that my weight keeps going down each time I weigh in the mornings. Three pounds lost in one week (as of tomorrow) is just a shock to me. I have started to get back into drinking water, and on average, I'm drinking around 80 to 110 oz of water daily. I'm still getting used to the idea of water retention since I'm drinking so much more now, but here's to hoping it improves more aspects than just weight.

Hey everyone, been MIA, had my surgery on Tuesday, doc said the stone was impacted and wasn't coming out on its own. It's been rough, they had to put a stent in as well and it's very uncomfortable. I have gained back a few pounds and I probably won't be able to work out for a little bit at least until the stent is removed and then probably some time after that. I go back to work tomorrow and after this weekend I'm going to get back on my shakes and meal planning. Hoping I can catch back up and I won't be too far off my goal. Hope everyone has had a good week and great start to the month.
