FieryCupcake how was Disney? And how is your neck? Hope you had a great time with your nièces and that you are feeling better.

curvynotlumpy did you end up buying anything at Ikea? I love that store, we go maybe 4-5 times per year, it's like an outing for us. I too am due to buy a new sofa. Not leather this time. We tried it and Loki went to town on it.

MrsTryingAgain nice to see you back. Very sorry to hear about your struggles and how your husband has been feeling I hope the doctors will figure everything out quickly. And good for you for deciding to not put your health in second place anymore.

bigjoe feel better fast. It's nice to cross into the 270s but not while feeling sick, I'm sure.

Kukkie84 nice that you got that walk in.

loveofmylife001 it's rainy and gloomy here as well, but warm enough that I have windows open to get some fresh air in.

6 days into this week and I'm still eating on plan. It feels sooooo much better too. Weight is going back down slooooooooowly.

Good morning! It's and cool today; the kind of day I wish I could have stayed in bed for but couldn't because, you know, working and earning a paycheck and all Weight is back down to 211 no doubt due to the light lunch and dinner I had last night. Good choices but I'm really hungry this morning.

@Martine: I, too, love Ikea! Nope, didn't buy anything. Due to good conversation we didn't leave the restaurant until late so when we landed at Ikea we only had an hour until they closed. We used the hour specifically in the couch section testing, resting, etc.

@lovemylife001: I'm intrigued by your fast days. I've never attempted one but I can see how it would rest the digestive system and even it give it a chance to clear out some. Our internal organs work so much harder to keep us healthy and our systems regulated than we probably ever imagine.

@MrsTryingAgain: back! Good to see you posting. I'm sorry to hear about your fall and your DH's health challenges. Good news that it wasn't another stroke Regarding ending a long-term friendship; I've experienced that twice with me being the one doing the ending. One relationship wasn't a deliberate ending, the friendship just sort of faded. The other friendship had too many moments of passive-aggression and was toxic. It hurt and it was difficult, but now many years later I'm glad it happened.

@Kukkie84: Doesn't it bite when your best laid plans get detoured . A is always a great substitute.

Happy Friday to all! We made it to the weekend

Martine I opened some windows today as well. I love fresh air. on being on plan for 6 days that's something to celebrate. It's so easy to get off track. Keep up the good work.

Curvy I love fasting, it really helps me with my discipline. It's easier to fast rather than stay on plan once I start eating I find it weird and fascinating at the same time lol.

MrsTryingAgain back. I'm sorry that you had to end a long term friendship, sometimes we have to make those difficult decisions when we know it's not the best for us

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone

Hello everyone! Work is super busy and home life is picking up too...my son has started his football season and I have to reschedule all my stuff, like posting here! Darn work is always getting in the way of my fun.

So I have to be honest, I'm not doing great food-wise since my mini vacation with the BF ended. I was back down to 228 this morning, so just 1 pound above my new low, and what do you think I did? I slept in and somehow convinced myself that it justified stopping for breakfast at McDirty's. I'm struggling because I've stopped checking in at my clinic too...I'm suspended until I complete a doctor's appointment I missed, but it's booked for May 13th, so I'm on my own until then, and I REALLY miss the accountability of having them read over my food lists and check my urine! I have to pull it together this weekend. I'm going to visit my sweetie in Germany in June and I'd like to be a lot closer to 200 by then. My goal was 210ish by June 17th.

I'm going to make it a priority to check in here daily to get myself remotivated to keep on losing.

Good Saturday Morning Everyone

Exercise is done for the day, now to do some chores. It's going to be a and pleasant weekend After I finish grocery shopping and laundry, I'm planning on relaxing the rest of the weekend. I have to do some meal prep tomorrow. I will be in training all next week so I need to stay organized so I don't fall of the wagon. I know that everyone in the training will be going out for food but not me lol.

Carbes Great job on the loss

Have a great weekend everyone

Starting weight: 220

Daily calories...

April 1: 1300
April 2: ??? ...fourteen hour drive, lots of road food...much less than it could have been, but lots of caffinated drinks, so...I really can't even begin to count....home now, though.
April 3: ??? Over 2000 (well over, I think)
April 4: About 1300 again (Phew)
April 5: About 1500
April 6: About 2500
April 7: About 1200

Weight: 216

April 8: About 1200
April 9: About 1450

Weight: 214

April 10: About 3700
April 11: About 1200
April 12: About 1200
April 13: About 1400
April 14: About 1200
April 15: About 1200

Weight: 212

April 16: About 1800
April 17: About 1600
April 18: About 1000 (crazy day, woke up with a grumbling tummy this morning!)
April 19: About 1500
April 20: About 1200
April 21: About 1800 (super stressful, crappy day at work, scale still stuck, didn't pay very close attention to food)
April 22: About 1200

Weight: 209

I was annoyed that my scale was waffling between 210 and 212 all week, despite working hard at the gym and keeping my calories low. I was even annoyed, and a bit disbelieving, when it said 209 this morning...just because I sometimes feel like the payoff isn't proportionate to the work put in and it gets frustrating (only three pounds! when I didn't have that chocolate cake and got to the gym four times in five days when I really didn't feel like it!?) but I need to change that perspective. 11 pounds so far this month is healthy and still substantial. I may not be hitting my goal this month, but I'll get close. IF I can keep it together. Disappointment, stress and the weekend are a dangerous combination for me.

all!

Just checking in to wish everyone a happy Saturday! I'm typing on my iPhone so I'll keep this brief. I'm at home busy making chicken stock to freeze. First time for that but it does smell good I changed my bed and have done a couple of loads of laundry. All in all a pretty productive day so far 👍🏽
Everyone enjoy your day!

I've finally got some movement on the scale. Down to 209 even. If I can get rid of 9lbs in the next three weeks, I'll have accomplished my goal of Onederland before vacation. Really need to focus.

curvynotlumpy and loveofmylife001 hope you had a wonderful weekend

bigjoe you are once again hitting your goal, I am really in awe of your progress.

Kukkie84 yay to being ever closer to Onederland!

Bookmark hang in there. We've all been there and we are here for you. Just focus on today, yesterday is done and over with.

I worked all weekend, it sure doesn't get any easier with our store being even busier every passing year. The only meal I didn't make was last night's, we had Subway cause hubby and I were exhausted. Back to it today. Weight not moving at all.
