Good job on the scale drop SmallSteps

Curvy, I make my egg salad the same way minus the celery. Never tried it with that before

ap14, will you follow the Atkins diet by the book or eat the Atkins meals? I heard the book doesn't use the shakes, frozen meals or the snack bars.

I am powerful, I have a ton of smoothie recipes and some books from the library. I just like to know what others prefer. Books tell a ton but people that actually drink/taste/eat things are the people I like to hear from Ha I'd just like to be without my belly and love handles then anything might be sexy I am powerful, your eating last evening sounds like the days that I had ... fun while they last (we're doing it) then you think to yourself or I think to myself, what in the world, smh,

Good job on the scale Volatis

Kukkie, that happened to you before where you filled in for the manager ... right?! Hope you're feeling like you soon Good luck, don't stress Enjoy your weekend

Trina enjoy your long weekend also

imthegoddess, please let those to diagnosis be your motivation Like I can talk, I'm diabetic (should have listened myself, smh) LOL on the GS cookies ... that's the kind of stuff that I do, but these kids find everything ... nothing is safe. I think they smell it, if it's hidden The cookies are still there. I thought about them but have not touched them. Instead I bought some Stauffer's Animal Crackers, they are low fat. I use to eat 16 of them before as a treat (remember Kukkie and Angie?) they were my go to along with my evening grapes. I so wish they would come down on the price of grapes

Yes Ma'am Angie ... so far so good Angie that's still movement in the right direction, Good job you are working it out

I dropped .3 not thrilled but like I said to Angie, it's still movement in the right direction . In order to make my Valentine's challenge goal I need to lose 3.6lbs ... that will definitely require a whoosh which I have not seen on forever. I don't count the days after a binge as a whoosh ... that is just my body saying WHAT, ... ok promised my daughter we'd go to the library and then get a treat

Just eat the meals

Let's all not talk about what I just did...made myself a sandwich on wheat bread, ate some seaweed, a cheese stick, and a ton of peanuts. Whoops....

ap14, I would LOVE to take it all! Great job on all that exercise!!

love2b150, Really!? I always thought bacon as one of those NO-NO foods lol. !

I am powerful, oh don't worry I made up for it today! I was so tired Didn't get out of bed until 2 !! If only it was THAT easy.... I don't think there would be chubby people hahaha.

Angie, I don't know. I guess I am not used to eating bacon... I only eat it with like eggs at restaurants or the very odd day I feel like having some in my burger.

Okay sooo 206.4 this morning! I am like a turtle lol but it's going at least! Hope you are all doing great.

dcapulet, glad you're back and recovered Let the weight loss journey begin again

DayDreamer I love bacon. I could eat it 3 times a day. I wish I liked eggs like that. The smell after day two makes me wanna puke And slow and steady

well we went to McDonald's and guess what I had????? a coffee that is it. I didn't eat one fry or taste the sundae or get an apple pie. I went to Tropical smoothie first and got a Totally green smoothie with extra spinach and no turbinado, yay me

Rennie, sadly, my version of butter chicken does not have any butter...lol. The cauliflower rice was just not good, but the rest, the chicken and the sauce was very good. I made my own naan bread out of lc pita which I brushed with icbinb and fresh garlic.

Daydreamer, congratulations on your big drop! Stay strong tomorrow.

I have never ever ever ever thanked those above like I'm thanking them tonight.

The roads here are TERRIBLE. Snow covered, sliding, accidents, etc. I had to babysit tonight and didn't even think to ask dad to drive me out (I didn't want to make him either). So I start driving, everything's good. I go to get on the highway and people are driving pretty slow (it was slushy). Whatever, the side road will take me to the same place. Omg, the road was awful. I slid in every direction and was almost in tears as I was driving. I finally got there (a 15min trip took me 35mins) and literally kissed the ground. So I was there and completely stressing about how I'm getting home. The mom said the roads were a lot better, wet, dry in some places, etc. (she said their street was awful, which it was). I pull onto the main road...it's s***. I'm like THIS ISN'T GOOD? I looked down the road I came and it was slushy, so I'm like nah, I'll take the highway. I got on...and it was a bad idea. It was that packed down snow with ice under it and I was shaking. There's no exit for about 4mi, so I was stuck. I made it though. I went to get off at the exit I usually get off at...I couldn't see it. It wasn't plowed OR salted. Ugh. So I drove to where the one highway meets the interstate. The minute I got on the interstate it was wet. I'm like um why wasn't it like this back there....? I got home in one piece, but I'm still shaking and I need a good cry...and some comfort food.

Sorry for the vent - I'll pop in and catch up in the morning. Stay warm!

09: 3.5 mile walk. Strengthen buns.
10: 2.5 mile walk. Strengthen arms & abs.
11: 3.5 mile walk. Strengthen buns.
12: WEIGH-IN: 243#--down 2#. 9 mile hike on flumes...explain in a bit. And basically a crawl up a canyon wall.

The flumes are a water way that runs parallel to a local river here. It was created by our state's power company. These flumes are high above the river & there are trails & catwalk that cross the flume. The catwalk was mostly only 18 inches wide...some of the catwalks I was on ran for 1/4+ mile!! You want to tone your buns...try walking catwalks high above a river's canyon all afternoon! H & I were only going to do 5 miles, but we got "lost" missed out crossing & went too far, had to climb up the canyon wall...it was getting too close to dark. Called a cab, got back to our truck, headed home for a shower & a good night's rest!
This is a sample of one of the catwalks. 18 inch iron grate to walk across. You can see H taking the lead. 2nd photo shows how far down the North Fork of the Feather River is. Could be scary at times, but I did it!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Angie I got my riced cauliflower from Trader Joe's, not bad, microwave bag. Do you have that store there? And Green Giant also makes a crumbled cauliflower that I made Ona's mock potato salad with. Pretty good

SmallSteps, good job on the drop

ap14, I am so sorry you have to drive in all of that. I know how you feel trust me. Two years ago, a 45 minute ride home took me 7 hours because of the roads and the stuck or abandoned cars. I had never seen such a mess.. here's a cyber I hope you are feeling better. Oh and the one time I kissed the ground was at BWI airport, that little plane went through so much turbulence I thought I was gonna have a heart attack before we landed. So when got through the gate I dropped to my knees and thanked God we were all safe. Those were the two most horrid experiences for me travel wise. Glad you're safe

MrsTryingAgain, wow is all I can say. I would say I'd like to try that but I think I'd be more afraid of wild animals than the catwalk ... I'm a lot paranoid (can you tell). Looks like great exercise though Go YOU and H Nice drop and 9 miles

back to 170.3 for me today ...
