Morning!

It's awfully quiet this morning ... probably because it's monday.
+0.7 today, 207.9. I was good I promise. I guess I could have done better with my water intake... Oh well. Hope you are all doing good.

Good morning

I hope everyone had a good weekend and that your Monday is off to a great start.

Super Bowl Sunday was fun and aside from portion control, I didn't alter my eating choices: 1 rib, small portion of potato salad, 2 deviled eggs.

@love2b150: Rennie, what about frozen grapes? I find that they satisfy my sweet tooth and frozen treat cravings. Admittedly, not nearly as satisfying as ice-cream (my favorite!) but still a good substitute.

@DayDreamer26 and lovemylife001: What adorable pups! Due to work, I'm not in a position to have a puppy or adult dog so I shall live vicariously through you both Keep the updates and photos coming.

@Martine: Your Super Bowl food sounds delicious. Was it?

Weight: 206 lbs. I expected the uptick and it is a better reflection of my true weight after illness.

B: Maple blended Greek yogurt, pumpkin bread, coffee with Splenda and 2TB of half and half
L: Lean Cuisine shrimp with angel hair pasta, sumo tangerine (Hybrid citrus that is cross between a satsuma orange and tangerine. Very sweet and easy to peel. Here's a link if you've never seen or tasted one before http://www.sumocitrus.com/sumo_story.aspx)

Thanks DayDreamer sounds like we have a totally spoiled pooch Does he eat dog food? I love to talk so could write a book That up is just a little water, like mine today

ap14 the nutrients don't sound bad. I'm trying to steer clear of gluten as much as possible. It seems to make me bloat like crazy I'm sure your gym tme will definitely make a difference on the scale

Good job SmallSteps a loss is a loss

Thanks I am powerful , it's a Non Scale Victories things you've done that helped on your journey that aren't directly dealing with the scale (I guess is how one would explain it) I love thin mints, and now those lemonads I think they are called???? Good job on the 1.5 down

Martine, I've got a water gain today which is also sodium related, we can flush it out

Joe ... you too

Good job Kukkie, nice weigh in

Thanks Trina Good job on you walk

Volatis, I think you're doing just fine that's all water

lionessavc, on making your goal Go YOU

Curvy, I bought some grapes but they aren't the greatest. Fruit is so high right now I bought some sugar free popsicles yesterday so next time I'll try one of those I was thinking about having a frozen meal today but idk

Well extra sodium gave me and up of 1.3lbs to 168.4. I went to the gym and burned 338 calories in 50 minutes on the treadmill so hopefully that will help.

B~ cabbage soup smoothie
L~ a blended smoothie of totally green from tropical smoothie, pea protein, a raspberry lite yogurt and half of a small pineapple mango smoothie from McDonald's ... why all of the ingredients??? because it was nasty and unbearable, yuck!!!
S~ turkey and cheese roll up, 1/4 cup stale cashews

Rennie, your comment about fruit being high and grapes not tasting the greatest, brought back memories of my childhood in the Midwest. Unless fruits and veggies were grown locally or in our home gardens, everything had to be shipped in. Selection was limited and the price was sky high! I've lived on the West Coast since 1997 and I take for granted how plentiful truly fresh fruits and veggies are and how they taste. I had no idea that there were any varieties of apples and lettuce outside of Red Delicious and iceberg until I moved out west . However, I can attest to the satisfying taste (well, at least I think so ) of sugar-free Popsicles.

As for the frozen meal, a couple of weeks ago one of the local grocery stores had them on sale so I stocked up. When last I lost a significant amount of weight, frozen lunches and dinners were a staple in my way of eating. It was pure convenience and I never worried about portion control.

Hello, hope everyone is having a good day

Goal Weight: 29th February - 205lbs

01: 213.4
02: 213.4
03: 211.8
04: 211.6
05: 211.4
06: 211.4
07: 211.0
08: 212.8

I kept to my calories this yesterday but had gammon for dinner and to make things worse with regard to sodium, as I was quite a bit under my allowed calories I ate crisps, albeit baked ones not fried, forgetting their salt content. I've been drinking lots of water today in the hope of losing the weight asap

Curvy, I started my journey on frozen meals for the same reason. It wasn't until the last year or two that I really started t pay attention to the sodium content, before it was all about keeping within a certain calorie range and no bread, since bread was my issue. I could eat a serving of rice or pasta but white bread ... I can eat an entire loaf

bookwyrm I am hoping to do the same thing

oh the popcorn monster attacked me and I ate an entire bag of microwave popcorn.

love2b150, Oh lol just remembered you asked if he eats dog food. He does, we feed him Orijen. Though when I give him big treats I give him a bit less.
But yes I mostly eat out of boredom.

Try brushing your teeth or chewing a minty, breath-freshening gum. It helps me!!
Or if I've been good. I have 2 or 3 Hershey Special Dark minis. That tells me (mentally) that I'm done eating! Then brush & floss.
