Miss you Rennie!!
Thanks Alicia, miss you too, glad you're back I like your input on breaking even. If I did that then I would only have to focus on 6.7lbs. Thanks Alicia, you made me feel better and this is more doable Though I still want to reach goal by 4/14/16

love2b150 on the 2.2lbs. That's awesome. Keep up the good work!

The scale is not moving for me in either direction. I'm expecting TOM soon, so that may be the problem. I have done my 2 fast of 500 cal, just one more day.

Hope everyone has a great day!
Thera-flu has always worked for me also ... and thanks for the comment. However I quickly fell off the wagon right after, smh

you're good, I love love love cake (unless it has nuts, coconut or fruit, then it can stay there and candy would stay at the job because I'd eat it riding down the highway . Unless it was stuff like, skittles and the like. I can't stand the way that stuff smells when the kids open it, yuk

lovemylife, good for you on not eating any of that at the party today, boy do I wish I had your will

@love2b150: Sometimes you just can't ignore those days and weeks when you find yourself a perpetual motion machine Self-care is important especially for those with children and significant others. Really, for all of us. It's almost impossible to take care of anyone else if you aren't cared for so I hope that you're able to catch your breath every so often and distance yourself from the activity.
Curvy, Good job on the new low .... thanks, I've said that to the kids and they say, We'll take care of you ... I think LOL until you (they) need something. They are growing up so fast ... the one thing they will never say is that I wasn't here for them. They only complain when I'm on 3Fc too long and I've promised to do something with one of them I'm truly blessed

Curvy, don't care for the rain especially since it's been cold and rainy. However I'm with you on the sleeping. I sleep so much better. I also like this time of year since it gets dark early I don't feel like I'm sleeping during the day, eventhough I still really am but it helps me Congrats on your 1000 miles

Martine this is ME 100%, though I haven't done any formal exercise in awhile. I had off yesterday and I cleaned from 5am till 3pm, .... kids.

I'm trying Martine, thanks ... YAY on the 220's GO YOU I would have loved to have seen your Christmas tree costume. Maybe keep working on it and you'll be ready for Christmas and can still use it for something

Had taken hubby's card last night, but then misplaced it. Went nuts looking for that. My son had pajama day at preschool today, but didn't get why he couldn't wear his slippers and had to wear his rainboots. All in all, just a frantic morning. But I feel good. Went to the gym after work yesterday, felt great when I left there. This morning, I somehow managed to throw together a decent lunch so I wouldn't buy something at the cafeteria. I'm going to try to just make good decisions for the rest of the week and then weigh in at the end. But who am I kidding, I'll probably be on the scale tomorrow morning.
this sounds like one of my days and LOL on not getting on the scale in your mind at the moment, knowing you'll be drawn to it in the a.m. you'll be fine at dinner this evening ... for you for the weekend, with treats and festivities

For those talking about rain, we've had our share here also and my husband had the nerve to complain about the sun today ... does he not realize that this is a great sunny day and it is now in the 60's not the 40's, geesh, smh

love2b150 I have a party today at work at 3p.m. and was going to fast yesterday to offset what I ate today, but I talked myself out of it I packed a salad and a protein bar and that's what I'm having. But I love doing the fast. I typically lose 2-4lbs, which is awesome.

You can do it and I think posting it would definitely help. I know if I eat some cake today, I will be kicking myself tomorrow and I don't want that. My weight is holding steady so I'm thrilled about that.

I also bought some Orchard Apple Mio yesterday. It's so delicious in your water and also bought some harvest tea from Trader Joes and put a squirt in it, OMG, it taste like warm apple cider.

lovemylife, GO YOU I may have to try the apple Mio, sounds good. I pretty much like any Mio that I've purchased. It's too late for me to do your way of eating today. But there is always tomorrow I'll keep you posted Have fun today.

I haven't posted much this month, but I have done okay with my weight. I think it's a combination of trying to make better decisions, trying to be a little more active AND stress . . . lol. I'll take it. I am one pound away from my lowest weight reached before I started regaining (October 25, 2010 I weighed 210.6 . . . for a day before bouncing back to 212 and then never getting below 211 again).

Thank you Rennie!

I said over two years ago that I wasn't going to cut my hair again until I got under 200 lbs (and then I gained weight). Well . . . for several reasons I recently had to revise that goal. I cut about 14 inches off my hair earlier this week and donated it to one of only 3 places that will take white hair. This place doesn't charge the recipients for hair pieces or wigs (Locks of Love charges). I've lost 43 lbs in 11 months. I'm passed the halfway mark and Onederland is in sight. Finally. Feeling good wearing size 12 jeans today!

Everyone. It's going to be a decent day for the kids that go out to trick or treat. Not great, but no rain.

I did well at the party yesterday and pretty much stuck to my plan of eating

I hope everyone has a great weekend I plan to give away all the Halloween candy and not leave any for the house
