Congratulations to those who are moving on to the 240s. I weighed in at 257.2 this morning. I like the idea of working the plan, taking baby steps along the way. I should weigh about 125 or 135 maximum because I am petite. I have a LO_O_O_N_N_N_G way to go. Thank you all for being so encouraging to one another!
Congratulations to me, reporting in. It has been 10 days since I started the weight loss attempt. I am working my way down, slowly but surely. 256.6 pounds today.
Hi. I woke up early-I probably didn't get enough sleep. 255 today.... I suspect my body is making adjustments to losing instead of gaining weight.I feel so much better physically.
Checking in- no used treadmill for me. Down 1 more pound 254.6.It took7 days to recover from last weekends birthday festivities! I won't be doing any celebrating very soon.

Hey everyone! I dropped into the 260s on the 5th, but it was just barely, so I waited to wait a couple days to make sure it was going to stick. Today's weigh-in was 268.8, so I figured I could officially join in here...lol. So, hiiii!

I've had a great week this week on the scale, to make up for a slower last week I guess. I am down 30# from Christmas now and my face is thinning out a lot from it, which is nice! I had a birthday last week too. I went to Huhot Mongolian Grill which is really diet friendly and had a pineapple angel food cake (half of which made it to the freezer and the other half we ate, over the week but in plan for me, counting for grain servings).
I went to the doctor last week for prescription refill and he increased my goal weight to 160 for the time being, so I am getting close to crossing the less than 100 lbs. left to lose mark, which is exciting too!
I was a Diet Pepsi addict too, and I've been working on switching to water for most of my fluid. I am up to about 8 cups of water (2 liters) a day now, with café au lait and diet iced tea making up the remaining fluids for me. This is the best I've done on water ever (I just never liked the taste of it!).
