Smile Hello!

MsTibbles: I am a night owl too! I've been pretty good at either keeping myself busy in the evenings (aka NOT sitting in front of the TV) or just going to sleep early. The last two nights were pretty rough though! I discovered a new treat in the form of BBQ Popchips (they're in the "healthy" section of my grocery store, which I think gives me a false sense that it's okay to eat an entire bag). They...are...ADDICTIVE! I went overboard last night but I'm back on track today. Went to the gym, ate well, keeping my head up

What kind of tattoo are you going to get when you hit your next goal? I need to set rewards up. I feel like I've been shopping for clothes like a teenager with her Dad's credit card lately! It feels so good to try on CUTE clothes and fit into sizes that I never thought I'd see again

Jess Hahah bless you, those do sound good!! And it's good I think, to have a treat now and again. I had one tonight and I was still under my maintenance calories, yet i'm so full i need a wheelbarrow Bliss! The tattoo I want to get is the Deathly Hallows symbol from Harry Potter on my wrist. I can't wait to start buying cute clothes in normal sizes!!!

I weighed in today at 249.5lbs!!! I made it out of the 250s! Totally over the moon. My next mini goal is to get to 248 (50lbs total lost) and then 243lbs (BMI under 40) and then into the 30s. Pewpew! Fightfight!

Hope you are all doing well! x

I've been stalking this site for awhile now and finally got around to making a account. I currently weighed in at 256.2 today after plateauing for a few weeks. It's nice to finally move again, especially since I made some changes to my diet plan that I much more prefer. Nice to meet you all.

Hi MatchaPocky Nice to meet you too! Way to make those changes and stick with it.

MsTibbles: Congrats on hitting your goal! That's wonderful. We're hovering around the same weight, it looks like. I just went under 250 also last week. Need to update my ticker and signature again. I'm actually surprised at how some of the size 22/24 clothes are even way cuter than the 26/28 or 30 were! More stores carry the lower sizes and they have more style to them then the boxy 26/28/30 sized stores.

Hi Tibbles, hopefully we can get to the 240's together. Almost there. Weighed in at 254.8 the last two days.

I've been trying to start exercising but I can't find anything that entertains me besides just dance YouTube videos. My school has a very nice gym, but I'm still too shy. I need to find the hours no one is in there.

It always seems the bigger clothes get the more colors they put in them, like they're trying to make people look like giant water colored rainbows or they add gawdy designs that just makes you look bigger, but everything really is getting cuter as the clothes get smaller. Now if only they'd start cutting arm holes bigger, I could start buying shirts off normal racks at least.

Hi everyone! Glad to see more people in the thread, but hopefully not for long. LOL I would like us all to move down to the next decade thread soon!

Hopefully it's okay that I'm posting here, I just started (and just joined) and hoping the accountability will keep me on track. I started yesterday at 257.9 and this morning after first day on SB I'm down to 255.3, mostly due to water weight. 257 is the highest I've ever been, so it's a number that has shocked me into action. Luckily I can usually buckle down to get to 249 when I'm hovering around 253 which has always been my highest number up till now, but I'm going to try to get down into the 190s-160s (my average weight 10 years ago was 160).

Hey y'all! So this is my first day on 3chicks and my first post. I just started my weight loss journey Feb 1st and I have a long way to go but I'm motivated. While I am encouraged by all of your threads, I hope to leaving the 260s-250s soon so don't get used to me, lol! As far as my plan goes, I am exercising for about 35 minutes (cardio), 5 days a week with 60-90 minutes of yoga on Sundays. In terms of food, 17 out of 21 meals in week is vegetarian, sugar-free, gluten-free, and about 500 calories. The other four meals I use flexibly so I can still eat out and have a treat here and there. It's been working so far. I am super inspired by your success and even when you aren't losing, your determination. Thanks for posting!

Hi, Oaklandish! Welcome to the forum. I hope you have a wonderful time here.

Weighed in at exactly 250.0 today. I even double checked the scale because usually it plays with my emotions, but it stayed the same (which is good since I was two pounds up yesterday); only one more ounce or so to the next decade, but it's fine because I really like you all. How is everyone's weight loss going? Anyone making any good strides?

Way to go MatchaPocky! I am not doing well on losing weight, but it has been an emotional and stressful month. I'm glad that I didn't gain too much. But I am not giving up!

I have hit a major plateau. Thankfully I haven't gained, but I keep gaining and losing 3 pounds. My goal is to lose about 5 pounds and I'll feel like I'm making progress again. I got off my low carb diet and I've been on more of a low calorie and it's just not working for me. Time to rethink my plan.

Hello, everyone

I've been active here twice before, and fell off the wagon BIG TIME. I started this new journey on 2/25 at 290 lbs, my highest weight ever. With hard work and lots of water weight to lose, I weigh in today at 268.6. I hope to meet lots of you again and share the struggle!

Smile Peeking in...

Hello.... I'm lurking... I weighed 270.8 this morning (aren't you glad you're not me?) and I got so excited that I will be over here soon, that I thought I'd come check out your world!
MamaAngel - I am a nurse, and I am always the biggest person in the room and I HATE it. I know I'm well on the way now that I've figured out what works for me. See y'all soon! I'll check back in case anyone wants to chat. *EXCITED*
