Please tell me I'm not the only fat chick trying to get out of the 240s! Even more reason to get out and join another group with other participants I guess...
Hey Angie.. Saw the thread and hope you don't mind if I jump in. I hit 240 this week and hope to see the 230's this week. Such a struggle. Our trackers look a lot a like. Anyway I have been posting in the Shrinking violets thread since rejoining the 100# club after quite a hiatus. Many years ago I found this site such a help. I live in Northern NY and see you live up north from me.
So what rang my bell? I found my size 22 pants were cording me off and I refused to by new, so I got myself focused just before the holidays. I also have been inspired by 3 people in my life that lost a lot of weight, just by life style changes.
I started with small changes and realized I had been eating candy almost daily along with other food choices that were filled with calories like butter. My fitbit food tracker was quite an eye opener for me.
The things that have been keeping me on track is using my FITBIT Flex... treadmill, food logging, no candy and I made a MD apt and will be starting CONTRAVE tomorrow.
Hello to all
My first time on a weight loss forum. My weight was 245 yesterday and am 244 today. Have tried over and over to lose weigh and really want to try and succeed this time and keep it off. Good luck to everyone who is trying.
Hi awinte2! I love these "getting out of the ___" threads, they are really motivating. Restarted this journey two weeks ago or so in the 250's, so I am happy to be 246 today. Hope to be in the 230's soon!!
Checking back in! Hi everyone. 241.8 today, but my scale did flash to 239 before stabilizing in the 240-241-ish area. It likes to play with my emotions, I swear. Hope everyone is having a fantastic week thus far.
246.0 today. Hoping to get out the 240's by month's end.
I'm sure it'll happen, Jen!
It's amazing to think after this, there's only two more of these threads until onederland. Going through these threads make everything seem so fast. I love it.
